I like the sentiment, but it is overplayed.

Over 30 years ago when it first came out, dh worked at an Non commissioned officers club restaurant. At every event that was held there it was played. He got tired of it then.

I could find no mention of any monies from the rerelease of Greenwood's song after 9/11 going to victims and families. Do you have a link that I missed?
