That's great!

Especially when there are cities, like in Florida, that didn't hold Pride events this year. (Probably can't post a link.) NYC had some of the strongest COVID regulations for outdoor events, so only last year, did we start having celebrations & parades and such again for everything, not just Pride events. This is the first year we are really back to full celebrations. When a coworker mentioned at the beginning of June she was going to a pride celebration and I knew it was too early for the huge parade and festival held at the end of June, that's when she mentioned it's a whole month now.
Pre-pandemic,
I did get to see Madonna doing a sound check for
Vogue and then later watch the actual performance at the festival.

The Stonewall Inn here, the national landmark for where the gay rights movement started did have celebrations the whole month. Now that I think of it, I think they usually do.
They unfortunately also had about 68 flags damaged and desecrated in some way three times over the month. If the perpetrators are caught, it will definitely be as a hate crime.
