I live very close to Williamsburg, VA. The Fife and Drum presentation is always my favorite.

I always enjoyed the short fife and drum in Epcot. Was sorry to see it go, like so many other nice touches around the park/s.

I remember this. There was always a short parade for the kids to march in along with the fife and drum demonstration. My daughter and nieces did the march once, and were given documents claiming them to be "Daughters of Independence." Once again, another special, unique part of Disney World that has been sacrificed to the ultimate dollar.

You have unwavering faith in the society of the past. That is not what we are facing today. This is a real and possible threat and it requires all of us to solidify to have a chance of overcoming it. Just this past week enough happened that should have sent a loud signal through everyone that wants a democracy just how close we are to losing it and our constitution.

Please don't ask if anyone is desecrating our flag and wearing it to cover our butts like where all American flags should be displayed. Really? As a veteran that believes in the real meaning of our flag, our constitution and what was once our system of government I'm just getting angrier every single day and everytime someone just says.. oh, don't worry, everything will be fine. We have survived other things but nothing like the crap that passes for patriotism today.

Trends come and go as society progresses. Each generation teaches the next one and learns from them all the same. We can and will overcome difficulties when the need arises as a society but first we need to listen to each other rather than listening to the extremes who are the loudest.
