I liked this past episode, felt bad for the dad though. I would suck at the on the fly learn a song and a dance challenges lol.


I'm interested in how the teams regroup and get back to it, I'm thinking about the mental toll the pandemic has had. I def. expected some teams to not come back.

I was surprised they are still traveling out of the country. We see they pick up in Switzerland from the coming attractions. I would have thought they would have kept it to the US with so many different restrictions depending on what country you go to.

I think that, after Season 8 (which never happened), they've been shy about doing more than the first/last leg in the US. Oddly enough, I think that TAR Canada WORKS because they do spend so much time in Canada.

I'm with everyone else where the eliminated teams get a second chance in place of those that could not make it. Doubt that they got older teams with "unfinished business" in as replacements (although I did check Team Fun's Becca Droz' Insta to see if she was radio silent during the taping period. And it looks like she was still in Colorado)

I wasn't disappointed with last night's eliminated team. She had no intentions of even making an attempt at the barrel challenge, although it seemed that they were both trying to remove the rings by hammering them further onto the barrel.

Right? That was very frustrating to watch. It wasn’t a hard task if the teams just followed the instructions...

I’m a little lost with the teams; it always takes me several weeks to start keeping them straight. Where did everyone get the intel on which teams come back after the suspension and which don’t?

At the end of the show you see them line up when the race picks up again. You can clearly see there aren't as many teams. Then in the coming attractions you hear Phil say welcome back, as you can see not everyone returned, but you may remember these people. So, him saying that I have to assume it was teams that were eliminated from their race.

Well on another message board I saw Sam and Connie have a new born so she was pregnant when they started back.

Can’t remember their names but the couple that couldn’t drive the stick shift and she got mad at him broke up. I knew she looked familiar but couldn’t place where. Found out they were from Show Love Island. They wore yellow.

They said the married guys that did the wedding dance video are living out of country or something and couldn’t get a visa to continue.

Don’t know what happened with the train guys.

I heard one of the injured heroes was injured. If that's true I wonder if they could have had the other hero and Sam run together since their partners were unable to.

I know it's not the show's fault, but this reboot is not going to be nearly as much fun to watch. No travel issues, no fights with cab drivers, everyone even at all legs (maybe they have a plan for that?). It just seems like it will be Amazing Race-lite. Oh well, I'll still watch.

I was surprised how fast they got through the flag thing over the belts maybe it was because they both got lost.

Liked the guys that left but it is a race someone had to go.

I completely hear you on this but I will say his being very open about his ADHD and struggles and positives with it have been a huge help to my daughter so I am rooting for him.

I agree. I think you are going to have the guys and Penn and Kim switching 1st and 2nd each leg. I'm not sure if any of the other teams have a chance of winning.

I'm guessing they will not be giving out trips with the pandemic, so maybe the trips usually cost $5,000, so why they are giving them $2,500 each, but I don't know.

I was wondering if the teams that didn't come back, were they given the option to run with someone else. Like the heroes, one of them was injured and the one couple the woman was pregnant, could they have run with each other. Even the couple who split up, they could have run with someone from another team whose partner couldn't make it.

Why the heck did Sherri do the challenge when she was hyperventilating going up the gondola? And then the preview shows her doing ANOTHER height related challenge next week? What a maroon.

It was interesting seeing them do Appenzell. We just watched a Rick Steves episode in that area earlier in the week.
