How can you all comment about the Linz guy saying SOB but none of you have commented when Mr. Gaghan swore in front of his children after the Paolos completed their bungee jumping?

I just find it a shame that they won't be participating in the commentaries for the TAR7 DVD coming out in Dec.

Huh? I know TAR1 is out..didn't know any others would coming out. If TAR7 is coming out in December, what about TARS 2-6?

I've been watching this series for a while now, and I freely admit to heartily enjoying Rob & Amber, but this particular show's really got me muddled-there are so MANY people that they're all just blurring together.

And while I enjoyed the shows where two tired, hungry adults were just totally icky to each other, watching parents treat their kids/stepkids like dogsqueeze is really no fun to see.

About the only enjoyable part for me right now is watching poor Phil get hugged by sweaty people at the end...

If they follow the typical system all will come out in order after season 7. Pretty quickly too. It makes sense to release the first and the most recent because they are ones stuck in the minds of the fans. The Romber factor doesn't either.

And IMO it's a good thing Gretchen wil not be allowed on the DVD. That blog of hers was nothing but slime.

This is the first time I can remember any team on the AR actually figuring out the way to win. Bill Gaghan - "Just best one team!" Don't worry about coming in the top three until the last legs. There's always equalizers and you can hurt yourselves in the game by freaking out and making mistakes.

The Paolos were fools for taking the Fast Forward when they didn't need to. Hope it comes back to bite them.

I agree about the Gaghans. I never could understand what all the fuss was about coming in the top (I mean, except for the 1st place prize). There are almost always equalizers and stuff to catch up in the race. I think that is a good strategy.

I would normally agree about the fast forward, but Phil said it was the only one on the race, so it could only help whoever got it, not hurt it. I agree though, that it would have been stupid to use it now if there were other fast forwards later on.

Checked the site and now I'm more confused.

From the glossary for Fast Forward.

"Two pre-determined legs have one FAST FORWARD, which allows the Team that completes the FAST FORWARD task first to proceed directly to the next PIT STOP without having to do any further tasks, including DETOURs or ROADBLOCKs, on the way. The trick is that only the first Team to find and complete the FAST FORWARD on the leg may use it; any subsequent Team that finds it will have wasted their time and must go back and complete all tasks. In addition, a Team may claim only one FAST FORWARD during the entire race."

Site says two legs have a fast forward, one per leg. It's a big part of the game, so IMO it wouldn't make sense not to have one closer to the end.

For some reason I remember there being three legs with a Fast Forward but maybe it's always been two.

I tried to find it again but failed.

Gretchen had a blog that was updated as each episode aired last season. That "nice" lady had some nasty things to say about the other people behind their backs. As you might guess, Amber was the top target.

I remember it got most of it's attention after the accident because of the comments about how Rob and Amber didn't stop.

I never understood that. It's like the people complaining didn't notice that there was a helicopter and chase cars shooting the whole thing. They had the situation fully covered without any of the teams stopping to get involved.

Yeah, I didn't get that whole hoopla either. I gues sthey could have asked "are you okay?" and drove on, but I see no need to stop.

The Blog Gretchen wrote was in the end someone else writing it. Theres a chance that this is covering up the truth, but as far as we know, Gretchen did not write that blog.

TAR7 is the next season to be released on DVD (Dec. 7th) after Season 1. Releasing reality seasons out of order isn't anything new, Survivor is doing the same thing.

I only mentioned Mr. Gaghan "swearing" (saying son of a ***** and dammit) because I thought it unfair that people here were complaining that other families were saying these words, but the nobody complained about the Gaghans (who seem to be fan favorites here) who did the same thing. I could care less how people speak and whether its censored or not.

Source? That's certainly not what I heard. Gretchen was backing it all up in the radio interviews she was doing at the time. It's very common for them to do many radio interviews once they're eliminated. We got each pair here on KZOK 102.5 at the same time each week.
