I have a bounce back room only deal at CSR Nov 27th-Dec 4th that I booked when I was at WDW this past May. Because Saturday Nov 26th was not covered under the bounce back dates, I booked a room only at rack rate at AS Movies for that night just so I could book my ADRs at 180 days out. I planned all along to switch to the AP discount when it came out. Today when the AP discounts finally came out, I found that the bounce back deal I already had, beat the AP discounts so kept the bounce back for the last seven nights. I switched the rack rate room only I had at AS Moves for the first night (Nov 26th) over to an AP room at CSR, so I'd be in the same resort all week.
Since AP holders can buy the DDPs without buying park tickets, I decided to add the DxDDP for that first night only. I know I have to use all the components of it by midnight Sunday Nov 27th. So if my thinking is correct, for $78.99 I get a mug, two snack credits, and three meal credits (which if used as TS meals include 1 appetizer, 1 entree, 1 dessert, and 1 beverage).
so: $78.99
-$13.99 for the mug
- 8.00 for two snacks
$57.00 for three meals
$57.00 divided by 3 meals=$19.00/meal (appetizer, entree, dessert, and beverage). I'll have the TiW card, but there is no way I could get a three course meal for $19.00 even with the TiW card, especially if I plan my more expensive meals for those first two days. Right? Sounds too good to be true though. What am I missing? I'd buy the mug anyway.
