Am I Crazy?

Keep looking, even that morning when you wake up. People cancel all the time.

I will. I'm just not very lucky when it comes to snagging those hard-to-get reservations.

Here's what I have for Animal Kingdom right now:
Safari: 9:40-10:40
EE: 10:40-11:40
Dinosaur: 11:55-12:55
We have to leave around noon for our ME trip to the airport, so we may not get to ride Dinosaur.
What would you do at rope drop? I usually head to the safari, but wondering if I should try to get another ride in first since we won't have time to ride very many. Should we do Dinosaur first instead without a FP, then let the third FP just expire without using it?

Dino land is pretty empty at rope drop. You can do the rides there, may even be able to ride EE before your Safari FP

Are you avoiding Kali because you don't want to go to the airport wet?

You also mentions that you couldn't get character spot at Epcot. Mickey's line may not be long at AK when everyone is running to Africa.

Oh my....just saw your quote of my statement. I should not post from my phone. My syntax is awful.

I have no advice for you but I just want to say how freakin' awesome you are. What a treat!

Great job putting this together - I'm sure you will both enjoy it

For AK - I think you could visit Mickey/Minnie at rope drop, then ride EE (twice!) and then use your Safari FP. If there is a Festival of the Lion King show that you can get to - I would try to do that or Tough to be a Bug before you leave. Tough To Be A Bug is definitely more for the 4D experience - doesn't look like you have those types of things planned anywhere else.

For MK - for a first time visitor - I would just make sure to plan in time for the 'non-ride' events - photos in front of the castle, talking Mickey (we try to FP him), watching the FoF parade (I would skip MSEP and maybe do SDMT then), and a visit with her favorite princess or Minnie or something. There will be plenty of time for rides - and it will be totally okay if you don't get on them all!

For EP - Figment is usually our 3rd FP. Make sure to visit the China Pavilion - mainly so you can learn from her if it's a good representation or some customs, maybe a favorite princess in world showcase or just take in some of the garden displays, and stop at Sum of All Thrills in Innoventions. There are also the latest Big Hero 6 and Inside Out characters not taking FPs that might be good to stop!

Enjoy!! Glad to see you have been able to pull this off!! We arrive on the 13th for the Dark Side Race Weekend - looking forward to it .

FYI..Right now at this minute there is a BOG for 11:50AM for 2 people on April 14th. Not sure if you are interested

I'm still trying to tweek Animal Kingdom. Here's what I'm thinking:
Rope Drop: Dinosaur
9:40 FP-Safari (try to arrive 5 minutes early, 17 min. ride if no stops)
10:00 Festival of the Lion King (30 min. show)-I understand if we won't be allowed in for arriving so late.
10:45 ITTbaB
11:15 FP-EE
11:45 FP-Adventurer's Outpost
Grab something from FTB on the way out to eat while waiting for the bus. Must be back at resort no later than 1:30 for ME.
I know this is wishful thinking so what should I leave out? I'm kind of thinking it might be good to do the trail in Asia but where to fit in?

I would bet doughnuts to dollars that you can walk on EE and Dinosaur at rope drop. Ride the safari around 10am with your FP and see the 11 Am FOTLK.

That seems like I might have a lot of wasted time doing this. If safari is over at 10:20-10:30, I don't want to wait back in Africa until 11:00. I'm trying to consider not having to walk back and forth. Also I'd be scared that if I went to Dinosaur first, then EE would have a line by the time I get to it. The other way around would be more walking.

I don't think 9:40 Safari and 10:00 Lion King can possibly work.

But if you go to Safari directly at Rope Drop, I think you can make 10:00 Lion King (you'll want to get there no later than 9:50).

If you can get a Dinosaur FP for something like 10:00-11:00, you could do it at about 10:50, before your Everest FP+. Probably can squeeze Tough to be a Bug in at about 11:40.

First of all your need to be at FOTLK by 1045 for the 11:00 show. You can go to the bathroom, maybe get a beverage at Tamu Tamu. It's really not a lot of time.

You could do EE at rope drop then go to safari and use your EE FP on something else. We've been able to do several runs on EE at rope drop especially if you're ok doing "single riders" after your 1st go! Missed your final details on EPCOT, but the character spot at night right before the light show is EMPTY!!! we ALWAYS get in our characters there at night after dinner and just before the light show :-) Hope that helps ... (You could get Minnie, Mickey and Goofy if you do EPCOT that way)

Since your FP window is til 10:40, I would do safari right after FOLK

How about this?
Rope Drop: Dinosaur
9:20: ITtbaB
9:45: FotLK
10:40: Safari
11:15: EE
11:40: Adventurer's Outpost
Would we have time to eat at FTB before leaving? Our DME is scheduled for 2:05.
