our recent stay was at the poly concierge. We had not stayed at the Poly for a while and it was our first stay concierge there. I is my new favorite!! You can not beat the view and atmosphere. Now I am sad I don't have another trip planned.

Checking in here, had to reschedule our November GF trip to December due to DHs work. Only MK resort available with our discount was Poly. It's been 7 years since our last, less than magical stay there. I know that there has been a major room renovation since then, convince me that the rooms are still in good shape for this visit. Our last stay gave us a room with a sopping wet carpet that we were not given until 5:45 after checking in around 1 and going to lunch. Volcano pool wound up closed alll the stay due to repeated diaper incidents. It's taking a lot to convince DH that this visit will be better!

And me! October brings the big 4-0 for me too. Dh turns 40 tomorrow! This year's trip to Poly (just got back on 8/10) was to celebrate our 40th! I personally think we should just make an annual Poly trip to celebrate EACH of our birthdays! Better start playing the lottery...

We have had fabulous vacations at the poly. I'm actually nervous about staying at the BWI next trip. Hopefully lightning doesn't strike twice for you. I have stayed at the poly a total of 20 days and never had a diaper incident. Thank goodness. Maybe it was the same kid pooping in the pool everyday. Have a great trip.

DH and I will be at the Poly 9/23-9/30, and I will celebrate the big 5-0 on 10/3 when we get home. We are also celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary which was on 8/8! Oh and DH turned 5-0 on 6/8! Big year for us...thus the big trip!!

We still cannot get into O'hana. You would think that a party of TWO, requesting ANY time on any of 7 days would be able to get something.....

I am so bummed. I FINALLY got my Poly reservation number for our trip (the AAA agent had a problem getting it from Disney). So I called as soon as I had the reservation number knowing I would need to prove I was a Poly guest to book a cabana (and I was right, they wanted it!) I have been planning on spending my whole birthday in a cabana. And guess what, they are BOTH booked on October 16th!!!!

I was stunned and crushed. So silly but I've been looking forward to spending MY birthday doing NOTHING. The CM was just as stunned that they were both booked so far in advance.

I ended up booking the cabana for another day but now I have to rework the whole schedule and of course - my already made ADRs.

It's so silly because it is just a cabana for criminy sakes! I'm just stunned that the cabanas are all booked on my birthday. Clearly everyone else wants to celebrate it too

Thank goodness my DH is at the farm right now because he would probably make me cancel the vacation if he heard me whine so much. Ok, enough whining, but wow - the cabanas are POPULAR!

Wow, Sorry, I know how bad you wanted the cabana for your birthday. I'm surprised also, considering I booked mine two weeks out for my July trip and none of the cabanas were booked.
