Oh yeah, that's right. Magic bands for Poly start in September. We'll be there starting September 5th and we received our magic bands yesterday.

DznyCrzy11, how did you know you could do the Magic band/ Fastpass+ thing? We will be at the Poly starting 9/21 and the only thing I see I can do on My Disney Experience is make my Fastpass+ ride choices. It then says nothing about a magic band.

I have to say, being here now is so special. I simply cannot imagine staying anywhere else!

About our stay so far, I have no complaints whatsoever. The room was perfect, the fridge works, the transportation so far has been GREAT! Mousekeeping has been great, we got two towel animals. I called this morning to have some laundry picked up and they showed up in 10 minutes. We got locked out of our safe, called to have someone fix it and he was there within 20 minutes.

The pool was crazy packed yesterday, and tables/chairs were hard to find, but it was one in the afternoon, the hottest part of the day, so I'm not sure I should expect anything less. I would love to see them checking/wristbanding but that's another thread.

So far, our stay has been outstanding!!!! Sooooo happy to be here!!!

I received an email on Monday and had a UPS letter that same day. That night we customized the bands and yesterday we received them in the mail!

It won't let me make FP+ selections so I'm going to have to call and find out what's wrong. Although, I'll admit, I'm not to thrilled with the idea of FP+. We like to plan when we get there, to an extent. We started out with 2 ADR's for 2 of the days and found that "too restrictive" so I cancelled a couple of the ADR's, now we just have 1/day.

Never got an email or letter but u did my FP+s and customized my magic bands they arrived two days ago

Try rechecking in online that seems to do the truck on the magic bands

The Poly will be all wristbands by Sept 1st. Some guests do have them already.

Awesome! How far in advance are people able to make their selections? Did I see something about 60 days or did you do it all earlier?

We've arrived! Fully unpacked and already relaxing... It's so good to be back at the Poly. We checked in about 1:45 and our room was ready. We are in Samoa, ground floor, with connecting rooms. We have a room facing the volcano pool just by the steps leading down to the pool area, it's a great location and you can hear all the pool activities and stuff like that. Very cute, but probably not the best location if you want quite. However, it's exactly what I wanted.

Just went back to My Disney Experience and the customize your Magic Band option was there!! They are on the way to my house!

Well since its in testing stages it wasnt an option for us at 60 days but I was able to do OLCI at 60 days.. Now being able to book your FP+ reservations is suppose to eventually be a 60 days or is it 6 months? lol

Do you see anything going on around Tahiti and Rapa Nui? Or the beach and sunset pointe?

We're 59 days out and were able to check in yesterday with no issues, but I'm not able to customize FP+ or Magicbands.

Do you see anything going on around Tahiti and Rapa Nui? Or the beach and sunset pointe?

I'm not in that area and haven't done much exploring yet but I was walking that way and saw some construction works out looking around and stuff like that. Not sure what they were looking at, but no other signs of anything going on.

I haven't been over by Rapa Nui, but there is nothing going on by Tahiti or the beach.

Thanks so much for your help. I clicked on 'Select Fastpasses' tonight by accident and it worked! So we have almost all of our fastpasses selected for our trip.

That would be great! I wish I had a trip planned to see it in full use vs just the weekend use they were doing early August when we were there.

It really made the mid day pool less crowded on the weekend when they carted people!

I DID IT!

I called Disney tonight and switched us from POR to the Poly. I really wanted CR but the kids wanted Poly. Although I didn't tell them I changed the reservation-hopefully it will stay a surprise!

Does anyone know how hard it will be to get a king room?
