It must have been something wrong with the system now it's back to what it should be

Do you happen to know the location of connecting rooms? We are a party of 7 and my requests are:

1. Connecting (not guaranteed since we have 3 that are 18+)
2. Tokelau
3. Samoa

I guess I'm just wondering of all the connecting rooms are in Rapa Nui parking lot side or something in which case I'd rather stay in another building and be as close as we can.

Yes I know where all connecting rooms are. Every building has connecting rooms on every floor and on both sides. My new maps will reflect all room configurations and connecting rooms for every building once I complete them.

Just got to the Poly!! Absolutely amazed by its beauty!!!

Also....no fridge!

Me and my sister have an adjoining room to my parents and they have a nice new fridge but we have one with a sign on saying we can't use ours!

Not putting a downer on my mood though!!

Is Kona coffee available with in-room dining or at Capt. Cook's?

THanks!

I believe it's the Kona blend that's available through room service. Capt. Cooks does not not have either. You can get either the Kona blend or 100% Kona from Kona Cafe.

Is anyone else worried about the poly/DVC rumours for 2014? Im thinking about booking for a 4 night stay in late Feb for the princess half marathon but my friend and I are worried that there may be construction or the pool closed during that time (keeping optimistic it will be warm enough to swim)..Its my friends first disney trip and right away she said she wanted to stay at the Poly....

Oh me, me, me!!!! 2014 is supposed to be our Poly year!!! Finally refurbished rooms, just what I've been waiting for....and then news of DVC...:headache:

Well, we have decided we are going to book it for August 2014 and unless something is terribly bad (pool or GCH closure would be considered terrible) we are going to stick with it. ::yes::

Hello. Just read in another thread that Sunset Point will be "closing" Sept 1 to weddings. I guess indefinitely, possibly because of DVC construction. Anyone know what might be going on there? I didn't think dvc would be starting so soon and certainly didn't think SP might be affected! :-(

All this talk of CL makes feel like I'm SO missing out! I'll just have to survive our plain ole standard view room. Good thing it's the Poly so it wouldn't matter to me if I was in a cardboard box on the beach - as long as that box was at the Poly! :rotfl:

I am in the same boat as you. I am just happy I could get a good discount to afford the Poly - even if it is just a standard room/view. :)

So jealous of everyone with Ohana ressies. I've tried for so long and still keep trying for our party of 9 and nothing before 9:45. Enjoy!!!

Same here, except we are a party of four. I keep checking every day.

This is what we will be doing. Our flight doesn't get in until 9:30 pm. We thought about staying elsewhere that night, but my DH said he'd rather not have to move. We want to wake up and head to rope drop and not worry about moving. I hope it all works out and we get a decent room. We requested Samoa, third floor balcony. Fingers crossed! We'll be there in 36 days!

On our Poly stay, we checked in around 1 a.m. and the first 2 out of 3 requests (Samoa, first floor, facing volcano pool, in that order) were met. With that said, I know everything is just a request and is not guaranteed, but IMO, I don't think it matters what time of day you check in....so I think there is a chance for you to get what you want. Sending pixie dust your way that your requests are met pixiedust:. Have a great trip......the next 36 days will go by before you know it :goodvibes.

Have a great trip and enjoy the Poly :dance3:.

Do you mean I can get the100% kona coffee to go from Kona Cafe?

Thanks
