Almost Anything Can Happen On A Commando WDW Vacation - Updated 10/17

I just wanted to jump in and say hello! I started reading when I saw that you took the AutoTrain down.

We had planned the AutoTrain for the first time for this last trip, we were there just after you, so we had the same situation as you but in reverse - our train down was canceled due to Irene, so we drove down and took the train back.
It sounds like you've taken the AutoTrain a number of times, is that true? We had done the regular Amtrak twice before from NY to FL, but not in a while. We loved the convenience of the AutoTrain, but I don't think we'd ever do it again, because none of us were able to sleep. Oh well, live and learn. Many people do love it though, so I'm glad it works for you!

We have done the Autotrain many times, We always ride coach, but after the 2nd time someone let me in on alittle secret:confused3 The seats that no one wants are the best seats, these are the 3 rows across from the stairs:confused3 Now alot of people don't like them since people come up and down the stairs to get to the restrooms, but they are in the middle of the car and you get a smoother ride since the ends take the bounce:cool1:

I think the worst seats are near the door at the ends, since it seems someone is always opening them, in the winter you get a nasty draft in those seats:eek:

I've never done a sleeper room, since they are alot more money, I'd rather spend the cash in WDW:banana:

I use to drive the trip and after getting all beat up driving home this trip, I remembered why I take the Autotrain:worship:

We get into the AAA Wishes viewing area at the Plaza Terrance without a moment to spare:yay: We stood at the bottom of the ramp and were watching the castle, also I'm scanning the area looking for BigTiki, in a couple of minutes I see sommeone sitting looking around (BigTiki) I give a wave and nod & he gives it back:cool1: after the pic show on the castle before the firworks started we introduced ourselves and made arrangements to stay there when the fireworks were over:yay:

After the fireworks we went down to the tables where Brent & His Family were and everybody hit it off like we knew each other for a long time:goodvibes We all said we wanted to see the Parade at 11pm, I was really happy to hear Brent say they like to see it in Frontier Land:banana: (I avoid the hub and MS like the plague) We found a great spot in front of the candy store near Country Bears:woohoo:

Brent & I go to get some snacks, we head over to the Dole Whip stand, altough I love them I can't have them anymore since it would lead to a epi-pen and visit to the ER:scared1: So anyway Brent got a Dole Whip and then I picked up some popcorn

As the parade came by we had a great view, nobody pushing to get in front of you, awesome spot:yay:

After the parade Brent's little one was out like a light, Since POR was like right there I asked if they wanted to go on it, everyone agreed and we headed to POR, our wives waited with Brent's youngest sleeping:goodvibes they were have a good time talking:banana:

While in line it happens again, someone starts asking about the shirt:scared1:, but this time was alittle dirfferent 2 members, 2 clubs from 2 different Countries (US & Canada):rolleyes1 When we were on the ride Brent starts to say George where are you, can you believe we broke down for a couple minutes soon after, go figure:eek:

When we got off, I knew that they wanted to get back to the resort, but I suggested Thunder Mountian, of course the kids wanted to go on it, so we headed on over:woohoo:

Now this kinda threw us both for a loop:confused3 the CM said last 2 rows, the kids informed us that they are riding in the back and we can sit in front of them, OK they told us:lmao: (If they were 10 yrs older, we would have to ? this), after TM we start to head to MS we take some meet pics at the Liberty Bell, go to MS and call it a night (1am)

I know I keep Brent & his Family out later then they wanted to be, and probably was responsible for you guys missing Storytime the next day, if we are EVER at WDW at the same time again I'll make it up to you:goodvibes

So we parted ways, but we were not done yet:scared1: still have a hour, and the park is really thinning out:woohoo: So we head over to Tomorrow Land with my son tearing that his friend left:mad:

We hat a GREAT time with Brent & his Family and hope to do it again in the future.

We walk right on Space Ranger Spin, 10min wait on Space Mountian, and walk on the Indy Speedway:yay: It's now 1:45 I said Ok lets go, my wife looks at me like Wow you are so generous:lmao:

We get to the bus station it's a good 3 bus wait, while we were on line can you believe someone is asking about the shirt:scared1:, needless to say I had 3 of them with me but after that night, they are not worn for the rest of the trip:eek:

I think we had a good 1st day, scored 12 of the 23 Transportation Cards and knocked off some big stuff, we get back to ASMo about 2:30 alarm set for 6:30:eek:

We enter MK around 6:45pm, and rent a stroller (OK he is 6, but since we will be there till closing, there's no way I'm going to carry 55lbs around the park:scared1:) as we enter Main Street is lined up for the parade, I notice Mickey & Minnie only have a 15min wait, I send my wife and son to the line and go to FP's for the Princess M&G:cool1:

In line someone was asking about my shirt, this was just a start of what was to come:eek: After seeing Minnie & Mickey, our FP was in the time frame so we got on the Princess line, only waited about 5 mins with the FP. We were the last family in the room so we had alittle extra time with each one since it was backed up abit:goodvibes

When we were walking up to Belle, she was reading my shirt and said The Dis Dads Club, strangely I have heard of this club (I know how :lmao:) Turns out Belle is pretty hip, while waiting to see Cinderella, My son and Belle were playing Pokemon with his cards:goodvibes

When we got out the end of the parade was half way down Main St. so we worked our way down MS when we got up to Casey's we hung a quick left and headed to AL, 1st ride The Jungle Cruise:cool1: this turned out to be a tie for the ride we rode the most (at 9 times for the week), we then went to Thunder Mountian:banana: when we got off I asked him what he wanted to go on next:confused3, well we were back at The Jungle cruise:lmao:, when we got off it was around 9:10 we started to head back towards The Plaza Terrence, since we had ressies from a AAA perk at 10.

As we are walking I noticed that the line to see The Faries was only 20mins, I said we have time let's get it done:confused3, while on line the lady in front of us asked about the shirt, next thing you know she has her weeks plan out, asking if it was good and if she should change anything, so here I am looking over thier plans, come on line move faster:lmao: My wife was ready to bust a gut laughing:lmao: I look at my cell phone it's 9:40:scared1: still have a few in front of us:eek: After we see Tink and the one that starts with a V its 9:51 gives us 9 mins to get there:woohoo: We made great time until we got to MS it was wall to wall people, we had about 50ft to go but it might as well have been a mile:scared1: trying to cross the street with a stroller no less was a lot harder then I thought it was going to be:scared1: As luck would have it a CM with a light stick was passing by, I told him we had ressie's for The Plaza Terrence how do we get there. He said follow me and stay close, amazing the power of the light stick:worship: we were across the street and where we had to be in no time:cool1:

Next up- We meet up with BigTikiDaddy and family & together continue the night:yay:

:worship: NINE TIMES ON THE JUNGLE CRUISE!!!! peanut butter, i have a hard time talking myself into going on that one time anymore. :lmao: that had to be funny, the lady going through her list to do with you.:lmao: did you have the cheese stake at the plaza?

Rob sent you a PM
Yes I did get a shot of Hunter & Belle playing Pokemon, hopefully I can get it on here somehow, since I don't know how to download it from the phone

Yes… Yes we can.

Here’s the section of the TR that this picture belongs to (along with out little enhamcement)…

Day 1 pre fireworks

…When we were walking up to Belle, she was reading my shirt and said The Dis Dads Club, strangely I have heard of this club (I know how :lmao:) Turns out Belle is pretty hip, while waiting to see Cinderella, My son and Belle were playing Pokemon with his cards:goodvibes

Yes dave nine times over a period of 4 days:scared1: I do have to say we never had the same captian twice:cool1: In away it's different everytime, some captians are better then others:rolleyes1

You would be laughing with my wife at me, I was cornered:scared1: I did however learn where I must avoid and when during the week:lmao:

We were at the Plaza for the AAA prefered Wishes Fireworks viewing, no food served, but I would think you could bring it in with you:confused3

nice pic ron. im in the same boat, i cant post pics from my phone i have to remember to pull out my camera instread of my phone to take pics. :thumbsup2

Thanks Rob:goodvibes I really have to take a PC class, growing up they had a class in school, but no one really took it, and at work I don't really use a PC , so I'm kinda out of the loop:eek:
But put me in the field, I'm your man old school all the way:woohoo:

We enter MK around 6:45pm, and rent a stroller (OK he is 6, but since we will be there till closing, there's no way I'm going to carry 55lbs around the park) as we enter Main Street is lined up for the parade, I notice Mickey & Minnie only have a 15min wait, I send my wife and son to the line and go to FP's for the Princess M&G

Thanks to fastpasses and low wait times, it took us 10 mins to get through both, that was nice

We made great time until we got to MS it was wall to wall people, we had about 50ft to go but it might as well have been a mile:scared1: trying to cross the street with a stroller no less was a lot harder then I thought it was going to be As luck would have it a CM with a light stick was passing by, I told him we had ressie's for The Plaza Terrence how do we get there. He said follow me and stay close, amazing the power of the light stick:worship: we were across the street and where we had to be in no time

We had got to the spot just as the MSEP was happening, and went for refreshments right after:scared1:what a crowd I hate being near the hub that time of night

We get into the AAA Wishes viewing area at the Plaza Terrance without a moment to spareWe stood at the bottom of the ramp and were watching the castle, also I'm scanning the area looking for BigTiki, in a couple of minutes I see sommeone sitting looking around (BigTiki) I give a wave and nod & he gives it back after the pic show on the castle before the firworks started we introduced ourselves and made arrangements to stay there when the fireworks were over

I would have stood while looking for you, but the smokers next to the viewing area were trying to steal all the chairs:confused3:rotfl2:

After the fireworks we went down to the tables where Brent & His Family were and everybody hit it off like we knew each other for a long time We all said we wanted to see the Parade at 11pm, I was really happy to hear Brent say they like to see it in Frontier Land (I avoid the hub and MS like the plague) We found a great spot in front of the candy store near Country Bears

The closest to the hub I'll watch the parade is in front of the Christmas Shop in Liberty Square...it helps not nearly as many folks wanted to see the 11pm, show

In the confusion of crowds and darkness, I found out they made the dole float with vanilia soft-serve instead of pineapple :sad2:

While in line it happens again, someone starts asking about the shirt:scared1:, but this time was alittle dirfferent 2 members, 2 clubs from 2 different Countries (US & Canada):rolleyes1 When we were on the ride Brent starts to say George where are you, can you believe we broke down for a couple minutes soon after, go figure:eek:

Would I do that?
It broke down again later on....BEFORE I involked the name of George. We had just got on the boat and sat for 10 minutes wjile we watched the CMs up in the control booth fiddle with the panel. I could even make out a flashing light. I am NOT respomnsible for the two-hour breakdown I read about either:guilty::laughing:

When we got off, I knew that they wanted to get back to the resort, but I suggested Thunder Mountian, of course the kids wanted to go on it, so we headed on over:woohoo:

Now this kinda threw us both for a loop:confused3 the CM said last 2 rows, the kids informed us that they are riding in the back and we can sit in front of them, OK they told us:lmao: (If they were 10 yrs older, we would have to ? this), after TM we start to head to MS we take some meet pics at the Liberty Bell, go to MS and call it a night (1am)

Oh yeah, the last time she rode BTMR she cried it was too fast, and still had fear issues earlier in the day.:lmao: Next thing I know she's riding in the back with a boy she just met:scared1::rotfl2:

I know I keep Brent & his Family out later then they wanted to be, and probably was responsible for you guys missing Storytime the next day, if we are EVER at WDW at the same time again I'll make it up to you:goodvibes

No issues, it worked out, I kinda regretted booking it, I wanted to power through Sunday and sleep as late as possible Monday to recover, no ADRs..we had set-up a make-up session, but the rain stopped that from happening. Next August hopefully can happen!

So we parted ways, but we were not done yet still have a hour, and the park is really thinning out So we head over to Tomorrow Land with my son tearing that his friend left

We hat a GREAT time with Brent & his Family and hope to do it again in the future.

We walk right on Space Ranger Spin, 10min wait on Space Mountian, and walk on the Indy Speedway It's now 1:45 I said Ok lets go, my wife looks at me like Wow you are so generous

Wow...I thought it had thinned out pretty good when we departed... we tried the EMH on the Friday before we left, but it didn't go as late. It was a lot of fun doing the meet up, would love to do it again!:thumbsup2

After a long nights sleep (about 4 hrs) it's time to get up to be at the 8am EMH at AK:woohoo:

Also today we get to try this rest time thing (as per wife:lmao:) So we have to wrap it up around noon:confused3

When we get into the park we head left to our 1st stop Kilimanjaro Safari Before we get on line I grab FP's for a second run later:woohoo: Waiting time said 5 mins, but we walked right on:yay:

IMO this is the best time to do the Safari, most of the animals are out, walking around eating:banana:
Later in the day it seems they find hiding spots and you really have to look for some of them

After the Safari we do the Exploration Trails, in the building we find my son's favorite animals The Naked Mole Rats:lmao:

After the trails it's Breakfast Time:yay: We hit the Bakery near the Safari, I have a apple turnover (they are huge) while eating the crowd from the reg park opening is now showing up:eek: What does my son want to do:confused3 That's right Dinosaur:scared1: There was practicly no line so we did twice:goodvibes Then on the way out my wife notices Dino sneakers, they had my sons size so we got them:rolleyes1

We then did the trails with the Dinos around Dinosaur.

We then headed to Camp Mickey it was around 9:45 and wanted to catch the 10:30 show of FOLK:yay: We have some time to kill so we do a couple meet & greets, we saw Pochohantus & Mr & Mrs Bunny before the show

After The Lion King it was time to use the Safari FP's before it was time to go back to the resort, it was looking like rain out:eek:, alot of animals were hiding:confused3 When we got off we started heading out of the park and it starts pouring, we dash under a overhang of one of the stores for about 10mins before it starts clearing up, so we make a break for the exit.

There were 7 people on the bus back to the Resort:yay:

So we get back to ASMo and have lunch, till 4pm we have rest time:rolleyes1 ok I guess I can take a nap:confused3, NO it's pool time (oh yeh:snooty:) we get into the pool and find that the water is like a friged 100 degrees:eek: (this was well worth leaving the park for:scared1:) so we are swiming around in a bowl of soup, I get out and fall asleep in a chair:goodvibes come get me when your done cooking:lmao:

Got to be ready to leave by 4pm for our 5pm ADR at Whispering Canyon Cafe:yay:

Also today we get to try this rest time thing (as per wife:lmao:) So we have to wrap it up around noon:confused3

Four hours sleep just wasn’t goin’a do it ‘eh.

When we get into the park we head left to our 1st stop Kilimanjaro Safari Before we get on line I grab FP's for a second run later:woohoo: Waiting time said 5 mins, but we walked right on:yay:

Score!

After the Safari we do the Exploration Trails, in the building we find my son's favorite animals The Naked Mole Rats:lmao:

I think just about every young boy considers those to be one of their favorites (probably because they get to say: “naked”).

What does my son want to do:confused3 That's right Dinosaur:scared1: There was practicly no line so we did twice:goodvibes

We ride this one fairly often and rarely have to wait very long for the privilege.

We then headed to Camp Mickey it was around 9:45 and wanted to catch the 10:30 show of FOLK:yay:

Fun show (especially the preshow if you’re willing to play along).

so we are swiming around in a bowl of soup, I get out and fall asleep in a chair:goodvibes come get me when your done cooking:lmao:

:lmao:
well done sir.

Got to be ready to leave by 4pm for our 5pm ADR at Whispering Canyon Cafe:yay:

Remember to ask for some ketchup… they love when you do that.

Around 4pm we headed to the buses to get to WL for a 5pm ADR at Whispering Canyon Cafe, now since there is no direct route, we took the 1st bus to show heading for a park, turned out to be HS, so we get on , at HS we walk to the WL stop, with luck in like 5mins the bus showed up:cool1:

We arrive at WL around 4:35 still have some time, lets take a tour of the property, we head to the back to scope it out. I really liked the lay out with the stream:cool1: And the the landscape behind the pool, then we followed the deck walkway out to the dock, WOW what a view:goodvibes so on our way back to WCC, I did notice alot of spiders making webs along the way, might be something to watch for at night:eek:

We are seated for dinner and we ordered our drinks, I ordered a Large pepsi:lmao: Our waitress looked at me and said oh you have been here before:lmao: She comes back with a pepsi in a half gallon mason jar:lmao: complaining this is like 15lbs I hope your thirsty:lmao: My son couldn't wait for dinner to come so he could ask for the ketchup, when it was time he asked the waitress and she yelled, Who has the ketchup, 2 kids from across the room brought us 8 bottles:lmao: a few minutes later we here the ketchup call, it's from the table next to us (guess it was there 1st time, you got to wait till its far away:lmao:) so we handed them all the ketchup:goodvibes
It is now pouring outside hope it stops by the time we are done:confused3

After dinner our waitress announces we have a Anniversery here, and gives my wife and I a glass of Champane:goodvibes Just as the kids start to parade around the place, my son was waving his napkin walking around, he says he doesn't want to do it, but is always one of the 1st ones out there:lmao:

It's time to head to the buses and go to the EMH night at HS:woohoo: It still looks alittle crappy out but the rain is done:cool1:

Sometimes you win! :thumbsup2

We arrive at WL around 4:35 still have some time, lets take a tour of the property

One of my favorite resorts. We stayed there for a couple of “no-park” days  this past trip (but I’ll talk about that at length later on in my TR).

My son couldn't wait for dinner to come so he could ask for the ketchup, when it was time he asked the waitress and she yelled, Who has the ketchup, 2 kids from across the room brought us 8 bottles:lmao:

Too much fun… Have you ever gotten a chance to hear the way they go about acknowledging someone’s birthday? :lmao:

After dinner our waitress announces we have a Anniversery here, and gives my wife and I a glass of Champane:goodvibes

Well Happy Anniversary (I missed saying that back when it actually counted).

It's time to head to the buses and go to the EMH night at HS:woohoo: It still looks alittle crappy out but the rain is done:cool1:

Again… sometimes you win! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

We were in Disney no matter what it's always a win:woohoo: This is what I trained for all year, failure is not a option, although everything is not controlable:scared1:

Thanks, we all had buttons on, my wife and I for our Anniversery (8/09) and my son had his B-Day button on (Aug 4), she did bring him a huge cupcake with a candle in it, but we were the 1st Annerversery of the night, we had a full plate at our table:rolleyes1

We arrive at HS around 6:30 we get a stroller for the night in case DS bombs out and head down Hollywood Blvd. As we are walking I'm looking at the schedule and notice Phineas & Ferb meet & greet is till 7pm, it's now 6:45 and we are by the Hat, I remembered they were by Mama Melrose, but I couldn't remember where MM was:confused3, so I ask a CM sweeping up if he knew where Phineas & Ferb where, instead of telling us he escorted us there (how cool is that, and I wasn't even wearing the shirt:lmao:) When we get to the meet and greet it is 6:55 and no one is there:scared1: He see's another CM and asks where they went, she says over to that building and they extented it by 1/2 hour due to rain, This was big on the to to do list and I didn't expect to get it done that night, Yes were in:banana: Ok Rob I guess this will work here:cool1:

Sometimes you win! :thumbsup2

Again… sometimes you win! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

We got done with the meet & greet around 7:45 and hit Muppets 3D, And then over to Star Tours, I was surprised that it was only a 15min wait:cool1: My son really liked it and wanted to get back in line so we did:woohoo:, We then went to the A & A building to see if any different characters were there, but it was the normal ones, so we headed over to TSM, Wait time was 70mins , we will come back, so I said let's try Journey to Nardia:confused3 this was a huge mistake :scared1: Biggest waste of time, would have rather seen the movie after the Malstrom:lmao:

I want to see if Ds is tall enough for RRR we get there and he is less then a inch to smoall:eek: Oh well looks like Next year:scared1: I can't get him near TOT, he is scared to death of it after last year:scared1:

It is now about 9:45 we go back to TSM, 40min wait, OK lets go, turned out to be almost a hour wait:rolleyes1 When we get off my son wants to go back on Star Tours so off we go:woohoo: When we get off it is almost 11:30 lets head out, we will be back at 9am:cool1:

Ok this might be alittle strange, MK had the a.m. EMH, but we planned to go to HS, in the hope that everyone went to MK:goodvibes

The BIG plan was to get my son signed up for Jedi Training for the earliest show possible:rolleyes1, as we were walking towards the rope by Hollywood and Vine, we spot Brent and his family waiting on a morning ADR:wave: Chatted briefly and was off to Rope Drop:cool1: When the rope dropped we headed to the sign ups, after my wife and son were in line I went for FP's for TSM & was going to meet them at Star Tours:woohoo:

I turn the corner near TSM and:scared1::eek::scared1: The line up for FP's was down the street, and the return times on the sign are just getting later & later (park was open 15mins and I had 11:35 - 12:35:confused3)

Anyway I head to Star Tours of course my wife & son were done with sign ups, 1st show:yay: we have alittle time we get on the big 5min wait of Star Tours, when we get off it's off to Jedi Training:woohoo:

They did change the set up since Dec, now they pick like 32 kids for each show and half are on stage and half are ground level, they also now have 2 Jedi Trainers, When Datrh Vader came out he was on stage, the one Jedi Trainer said you can't beat all these Jedi's, he said no I brought some help:confused3

Next thing you know Darth Maul comes running out towards the group my son was in with his saber staff twirling:scared1: The looks on some of the kids faces:lmao:

My son was in the middle, when it was his turn he had some good moves with his saber (all the cash I spent on Karate paying off:yay:), after they were done he got his Diploma and wanted to go on Star Tours (now 15min wait:rolleyes1)

When we got off Star Tours and were walking through the gift shop, informed us of a Jedi rule that we were unaware off:lmao: It seems when you beat Darth Vader or Darth Maul you have to buy the saber that they used:confused3 Oh really:confused3 Well there is also a rule that I had to tell him about, You can only build and buy the saber on the way out of the park, since only a Jedi can carry it, since me and mom are not Jedi's you would have to carry it ALL DAY:lmao: He said yes we will get it on the way out:rolleyes1

Next HS countinued

…so I ask a CM sweeping up if he knew where Phineas & Ferb where, instead of telling us he escorted us there (how cool is that, and I wasn't even wearing the shirt:lmao:)

That don’t happen at the local amusement parks… That’s pure Disney.

Yes were in:banana: Ok Rob I guess this will work here:cool1:

Hay… I was just a little early on the comment :lmao:

…so I said let's try Journey to Nardia:confused3 this was a huge mistake :scared1: Biggest waste of time, would have rather seen the movie after the Malstrom:lmao:

Yep… did that one once a while back. Pretty pointless :sad2:

I want to see if Ds is tall enough for RRR we get there and he is less then a inch to smoall:eek:

“Missed it by that much” Poor fell’a… next time though (and I’m sure he’ll love that one).

It is now about 9:45 we go back to TSM, 40min wait, OK lets go, turned out to be almost a hour wait:rolleyes1

Hummmm… they were off by a good bit on that estimate.
Usually they’re better then that.

Day 3 HS

Ok this might be alittle strange, MK had the a.m. EMH, but we planned to go to HS, in the hope that everyone went to MK:goodvibes

Not to me. I’ve done this and it works

I turn the corner near TSM and:scared1::eek::scared1: The line up for FP's was down the street, and the return times on the sign are just getting later & later (park was open 15mins and I had 11:35 - 12:35:confused3)

:headache: They really need to put something else new (and well thought out) in HS so that they can start drawing down on the crowd for TSM. Either that or build a second mirror image version of TSM right beside the current one to double the capacity.

When Datrh Vader came out he was on stage, the one Jedi Trainer said you can't beat all these Jedi's, he said no I brought some help:confused3

Next thing you know Darth Maul comes running out towards the group my son was in with his saber staff twirling:scared1: The looks on some of the kids faces:lmao:

Very cool! Did you perchance get any pictures of your boy as he got put through his Jedi paces?

It seems when you beat Darth Vader or Darth Maul you have to buy the saber that they used:confused3 Oh really:confused3 Well there is also a rule that I had to tell him about, You can only build and buy the saber on the way out of the park, since only a Jedi can carry it, since me and mom are not Jedi's you would have to carry it ALL DAY:lmao:

Well played sir. Excellent parental logic

After we left the Star Tours area we did the Cars M&G, then walked over and did the Monsters Inc M&G, it is now in the window of our TSM FP so we get in line:banana: when we got off and walked pass the FP machines, they were covered for the day:eek:

We then do some M&G's in the Art & Animation building, now it's lunch time, we should be heading back to the resort for "rest time":lmao: but my wife says lets eat here and go see Beauty & The Beast, so we head over towards the Fairfax area for lunch:yay:

After lunch we walk across the street to see Beauty & The Beast, we get 3rd row seats:goodvibes Now about 5mins before the show I come up with something that most would not even suggest.:confused3 I'm looking at all the shows and times and notice that the Lights, Motors, Action stunt show starts in 25 mins and this would be the only time we would be able to see it, this was someting my son wanted to see since McQueen was now in it:confused3

Now we do something unheard of with great seats and 5mins to showtime, we get up and leave:scared1: and head over to the stunt show, we didn't get as good of seats, but my son really liked the show so I think the move was justified:confused3

After the show it's back to the Star Tours GS so my son can make that saber staff:banana: OK we really have to get out of there we have a 4:10 ADR at Teppen Edo and it's 2:30, we still have to hit the resort to get stuff since there is a chance of thunder storms.

Inbetween I'm getting text's from Dave and Randall about a earthquake in VA and that Irene is on the way:eek:

Very cool! Did you perchance get any pictures of your boy as he got put through his Jedi paces?

I know my wife has some, and I know there are some that a CM took (wife just sent for the disk the other day)

I do believe I have one on my cell, I'll text it to you in the A.M.

I do believe I have one on my cell, I'll text it to you in the A.M.

Got ‘em. I’ll send you the originals back later on this afternoon, but… I can go ahead and post the resized version for you here.

My son was in the middle, when it was his turn he had some good moves with his saber (all the cash I spent on Karate paying off:yay:),

Ron-IMG003s.jpg

after they were done he got his Diploma and wanted to go on Star Tours (now 15min wait:rolleyes1)
