Almost Anything Can Happen On A Commando WDW Vacation - Updated 10/17

Post 666!

It's time to head to the buses and go to the EMH night at HS:woohoo: It still looks alittle crappy out but the rain is done:cool1:

Funny, we were in Epcot and other then a little sprinkling, no rain, we could Ok this might be alittle strange, MK had the a.m. EMH, but we planned to go to HS, in the hope that everyone went to MK:goodvibes[/QUOTE]

ALMOST everyone:rotfl2:

The BIG plan was to get my son signed up for Jedi Training for the earliest show possible:rolleyes1, as we were walking towards the rope by Hollywood and Vine, we spot Brent and his family waiting on a morning ADR:wave: Chatted briefly and was off to Rope Drop:cool1: When the rope dropped we headed to the sign ups, after my wife and son were in line I went for FP's for TSM & was going to meet them at Star Tours:woohoo:

I turn the corner near TSM and:scared1::eek::scared1: The line up for FP's was down the street, and the return times on the sign are just getting later & later (park was open 15mins and I had 11:35 - 12:35:confused3)

Didn't you see me in that lineup? I was in a panic, it took 5 minutes for that line to start moving, and our ADRs were for 9:30...made it right on time, family was already seated...we had the same time roughly too.

Anyway I head to Star Tours of course my wife & son were done with sign ups, 1st show:yay: we have alittle time we get on the big 5min wait of Star Tours, when we get off it's off to Jedi Training:woohoo:

They did change the set up since Dec, now they pick like 32 kids for each show and half are on stage and half are ground level, they also now have 2 Jedi Trainers, When Datrh Vader came out he was on stage, the one Jedi Trainer said you can't beat all these Jedi's, he said no I brought some help:confused3

Next thing you know Darth Maul comes running out towards the group my son was in with his saber staff twirling:scared1: The looks on some of the kids faces:lmao:

My son was in the middle, when it was his turn he had some good moves with his saber (all the cash I spent on Karate paying off:yay:), after they were done he got his Diploma and wanted to go on Star Tours (now 15min wait:rolleyes1)

When we got off Star Tours and were walking through the gift shop, informed us of a Jedi rule that we were unaware off:lmao: It seems when you beat Darth Vader or Darth Maul you have to buy the saber that they used:confused3 Oh really:confused3 Well there is also a rule that I had to tell him about, You can only build and buy the saber on the way out of the park, since only a Jedi can carry it, since me and mom are not Jedi's you would have to carry it ALL DAY:lmao: He said yes we will get it on the way out:rolleyes1

Next HS countinued

It was cool later on, I was with Audrey waiting for DW and Amelia to come off Star Tours sitting where Bays 1 &2 empty. It had started raing, so one of the jedis came over and talked to us, poor Audrey had NO clue what was going on..:rotfl2:

It poured at WCC for about 10mins, although I herd other spots did not even get rain :confused3

I guess we both were on the same page with going to HS on a MK EMH:cool1:

I didn't see you in the line up, I left Rachel & Hunter at the sign ups and went to get FP's for TSM meet them at Star Tours:confused3

The rain later on that had to be around 3:30 - 4 depending on which way it came from, it lasted a couple of hours , we got caught up in it going to our 4:10 ADR at Teppen Edo:scared1:

After a brief trip to the resort (mainly to grab ponchos) we head over to Epcot for our 4:10 EDR at Teppen Edo:cool1: the whole way there it's not looking good it's getting really dark:scared1: We get of the bus at Epcot get through the gates, get a stoller and start walking towards the WS, by the time we get to the umbrella we need one:eek: it starts to come down pretty good:scared1: we get our ponchos on and have to move forward to get to Teppen Edo:rolleyes1 we get up to the WS and I'm hoping for the boat, nowhere in sight:confused3 time to make the walk, we were getting soaked, except for my son who turned sideways in the seat, I got to say the stroller held up to the rain test:cool1: So we get to Teppen Edo soaked (those ponchos are highly over rated:rolleyes1)

When we checked in the hostess was handing out towels:goodvibes and we are seated. When they cranked up the habachi the heat coming off it felt great being soak and wet:worship: When our chef started cooking my son was was really focused on him, said he was a ninja chef:lmao:

The food was Great and the dessert (We had it ginger something :confused3 it was awsome)

It was also our biggest bill at $116 and change (DP paying off big time:cool1:)

If you have never been there I highly recommend it:yay:

We leave and it's still raining, but not that bad so we go into the store:eek: now if your child is into Pokemon, Transfromers, Hello Kitty etc. this place is a nightmare:scared1: Tons of stuff geared to kids that you can not find at a reg store, needless to say we spent almost $100 on Pokemon stuff this visit:eek: (all his spending money GC of course:rolleyes1) but this will not be our last time here during the trip (son has his eyes fixed on alot of stuff here, it's his new Toys r us:scared1:)

Next up finishing out the night (EMH)

After we escape form the store in Japan:lmao: we head to Morracco and the rain is getting heavy again:eek:so we waited in line to see Jasmine & Alddan:goodvibes While waiting on line I went out to the cart to get a Morraccorita (my fav:rolleyes1) and the Belly Dancer show was starting, of course I stayed to watch alittle of it:lmao: By the time my son meet J & A the rain let up and we moved on , we skipped France and went to the UK, the new band was playing when we got there:cool1: we missed half the show but I was impressed, they played more of the music I grew up with:banana: The last song they did was Won't Get Fooled Again by The Who (one of my fav groups) when they were done I was waiting to see Horatio Cane from CSI Miami to come out and whip off his sunglasses:lmao: After the show I was talking to the lead singer, told them I thought they were great:banana: and asked if my son could get a pic with them:confused3, he called the band together but my son chickened out, but I did get a great group shot of the band:woohoo:

Nothing going on in Canada, so we pass and will come back at a later time, Now we exit the WS and I ask my son what he wants to go on:confused3, what a surprise to learn it was the TT so we head on over, I get FP's that bring will bring us back in the hour of reg closing (but it's a EMH night) we get on the 30min wait line, when we are done we head over to MS (5min wait green side:cool1:) After this my son wants to go back to TT, Mom wants to go do the Main M&G (Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Goofy) well Mom wins so we go over to the M&G:yay: Once we are done of course it's FP TT time.

Now we are in the bebinning of EMH hours, so we haed to Spaceship Earth 1st, hardly no wait, we do the whole postcard thing at the end, then we head to Finding Nemo, now one thing that always cracks me up is when the wait time for Nemo is 5mins, it takes almost 5mins to walk through the line with no one there:lmao: after we get off my son likes to check out all the fish, so we spent alittle time doing that:yay:

We passed by Soaring, done this type of ride at many parks, and don't feel the wait is really worth it, even though some will swear by it:confused3

Next it's Figment, we all Love this, but how can you not, he's adorable:banana:

Now something thats a flashback, we go to see Capt. EO, now here is 30mins I'll never get back:scared1:I didn't like Honey I Shrunk the Audience either but it was alot better then EO:confused3

Back to MS for a double ride, it's now getting close to 12am and we get in TT 1 more time:cool1: When we get off park is closed, so we head for the buses and back to the resort

Next up Day 4 Our Non Park Day, kind of, sort of, but not really:lmao:

…by the time we get to the umbrella we need one

Welcome to Florida

it starts to come down pretty good:scared1: we get our ponchos on and have to move forward to get to Teppen Edo:rolleyes1

A man on a mission

When we checked in the hostess was handing out towels:goodvibes

Welcome to Disney (that just don’t happen anywhere else)

When our chef started cooking my son was was really focused on him, said he was a ninja chef:lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2:

If you have never been there I highly recommend it:yay:

It’s on the list! :thumbsup2

…the rain is getting heavy again:eek:so we waited in line to see Jasmine & Alddan:goodvibes

A side trip that appears to have become almost as important a DDC tradition as a good Dole Whip

While waiting on line I went out to the cart to get a Morraccorita (my fav:rolleyes1) and the Belly Dancer show was starting, of course I stayed to watch alittle of it:lmao:

:rolleyes1
“wink, wink… nudge, nudge… Say no more, say no more…

…went to the UK, the new band was playing when we got there:cool1: we missed half the show but I was impressed, they played more of the music I grew up with:banana: The last song they did was Won't Get Fooled Again by The Who (one of my fav groups)

That’s the stuff I’m still playing mayself. I’ll have to make a point to catch that show.

…now one thing that always cracks me up is when the wait time for Nemo is 5mins, it takes almost 5mins to walk through the line with no one there:lmao:

Yes… yes it does. :lmao:

Next it's Figment, we all Love this, but how can you not, he's adorable:banana:

It’s a love hate thing. We never miss it (because the line is almost nonexistent), but…

Now something thats a flashback, we go to see Capt. EO, now here is 30mins I'll never get back:scared1:I didn't like Honey I Shrunk the Audience either but it was alot better then EO:confused3

Must concur… on all counts

Next up Day 4 Our Non Park Day, kind of, sort of, but not really:lmao:

I didn’t figure that you’d be able to stay out of the parks completely

I didn’t figure that you’d be able to stay out of the parks completely

Well Rob you figured right, in the beginning we planned this day for Seaworld/ DTD, buy as we got closer to the date things had no spot so they took up some of this day

We drove over to the GF for breakfast, We only did 1 table serve breakfast, out of all the Character breakfast's this is our fav The Characters are Pooh, Tigger, Alice, Mad Hatter & Mary Poppins, the food is always top noche (strawberry soup:banana:) It's a great mix:woohoo:

We had a ressie at Epcot for 10am for AAA Storytime so we went to the GF monorail station as the monorail was leaving, this turned out to be one of my son and I, greatest Tranportation Card moments ever:goodvibes we asked if they had any Monorail cards, one of the CM's said this is your lucky day, he pulled out a monster stack and started sorting through then, out of the 11 Monorail cards that I knew were availible he had 10 of them and gave them to my son:banana::woohoo::cool1: My son is freakin out:lmao: we get on the monorail to T & T and jump on the Epcot monorail, we get to Epcot around 9:30, and head fo Norway on the way I make a pit stop and get FP's for TT (I know my son all to well:lmao:)

We get to Norway with a few minutes to spare:cool1: There was only like 25people there (they book them small) Mary Poppins is the Story Teller, and she is talking to the kids, and says something about on of the kids sneakers, My wife makes a comment:confused3

MW- My son had sneakers last year that talked, we didn't know they did, until his teacher told us:rolleyes1

MP - who would make such a awful shoe

MW - They were made by Disney they were Buzz Lightyear sneakers

MP - :scared1: Oh! that Buzz is always getting into trouble:lmao: (really didn't know what to say:eek:)

after the story, she did a one on one with all the kids took pics and signed book markers:goodvibes

Ok time to get out of the park right:confused3 Nope my son want's to go to Japan to get more pokemon stuff:eek: So before I needed some cheese to go with the whine:lmao: I said let's go how long can it take, so we hit the restrooms and it is now a few minutes after 11am WS is open

As we are passing China and see Mulan at the entrance of the Pavillion doing her M&G , line has like 5 people in it, so of course we stop for the M & G

As we are passing Germany, I see someone walking right towards us and stops in front of us and starts talking to my son:confused3 It's The Prince:cool1: We are then walked over to where he was going to do his M&G and were 1st in line

Now I want to get to Japan get these Pokemon and get out so we can haed to Seaworld, We make it to Japan and he gets his stuff, i said let's go the way we came since we pretty much got all the M&G's in:rolleyes1 We get up to Mexico and Donald is out with a minimal line and my wife wants to stop

When we are leaving the WS my son starts with TT (I do have FP's in my pocket that were good a couple hours ago) we go to TT and they take the FP's:woohoo: and of couse while we are there we have to do MS

OK thats it we have to get to the bus:scared1: By the time we get to The GF to get the van it's after 2pm. It's starting to look crappy out and we are off to Sea World:confused3

Next up, Rain, Rain, Sea World, DTD, T-Rex, and something else (could it have to do with Disney:rolleyes1)

I feel the same way usually with Space Mountain...I'd hate to see that queue if it were full:scared1:

We are now in route to Sea World along the way light rain starts:eek: I'm getting texts from Randall & Dave about Irene, but I'm not too concerned:confused3

We get to Sea World and get in and it starts to pour, we head for the Penguin exhibit, by this time I've figured out it will rain somewhere between 1-6pm everyday:scared1: When we are done we move on and catch the Pets Ahoy show, we get in and we are looking for the VIP seating since we hold Platinum passes, people with reg passes are sitting in those seats with seats between them and my wife starts to freak out:scared1: So it's time for me to step in before my wife makes a scene:scared1: I don't want to start anything where the people have kids, in the 2nd row the end seat is empty with 4 adults and 2 seats empty before the next party, I notice they have peg passes so now I have my mark, I put on my NJ mad eyes and lean in and say, hey listen you guys have reg passes and this section is reserved for Platinum passes, that we have, if you can all move down, I won't have to bring a CM to remove you from these seats since we are Platinum pass holders, I'm not tryinging to be a A but if it was up to my wife she would have had the CM here already:confused3 They looked at me and then looked at each other and they all moved over (thought they would see things my way:lmao:) interesting thing is they started to get friendly with us during the show and liked the way I handled things (of couse they did I didn't rat them out:lmao:)

After the show we went to see and feed the sharks, and then did the Artic with the Polar Bears (this was the 1st time we saw it since it was always closed for renovation:rolleyes1)

We did the Shamu coaster and then it was time to go (there's not a whole lot to do there and we've been there so many times its only like a 3-4 hr park.

Off to DTD for dinner at T-Rex, it's around 7:30 when we get to DTD, my wife and son head for the Lego Store and I go to T-Rex to make a ressie, the hostess said to me you don't need a ressie since it was immediate seating at this time, so I go to the Lego store to get my wife and son who are in the middle of picking out pieces they need:eek: It is priced by the container, so when they had it filled, I dumped it out and repacked it (they had alot of air space:lmao:) So he got alot more in that container then he thought he was going to get:cool1:

Now we go to the T-Rex Cafe:woohoo: If you have never been there it is the same set up as The Rain Forest, but with Dinosaurs:banana: During dinner I'm planning something, but it's all depending on what time we are done with the T-Rex and his build a Dino:confused3

Turns out we will make it and I suggest we catch a bus to the Contemporary to see the Electrical Water Pageant, since we have never seen it before my wife is ready to go:woohoo: So it's off to the bus, when we get there is about 9:50, Pageant will pass at 10:25 from info I had:confused3 So we walk to the dock and head to the end of it and sit (boy that feels good) a boat pulls up and I ask about the Capt. about the pageant:confused3 He told me the fireworks at MK is 1st and then the pageant will come by:cool1: He also told us that the Bey tower will block the fireworks, but you will have one of the best views you can get of the pageant from here:banana: I couldn't resist I had to ask him if he had any cards and he did (4) 2 that we did not have:yay:

So I'm notice these red lights in a distance and I say to my wife I bet that's the pageant over there, she was like whatever you say:lmao: Aftere the fireworks those lights start to move closer and turn to green, it was indeed to pageant:cool1: It was well worth the trip, if you never seen it this is a great spot, there were only about 10 peple on the dock besides us, the view and sound was Awesome:goodvibes

After the pageant we had back to DTD to do some shopping, What the heck everything is closing, found out real quick that most of DTD closes at 11pm except the bars, wasn't like that in Dec:confused3

So we haed back to the resort and looking at the trading cards I had the 1 monorail card that the CM didn't have and I was only missing 4 boat cards (and of course the 2 cards that are not availible)

Next up MK EMH, Main Street, Dapper Dans, And The Haircut

Well Rob you figured right,

WooHoo! +1 for stating the obvious.

…we went to the GF monorail station as the monorail was leaving, this turned out to be one of my son and I, greatest Tranportation Card moments ever:goodvibes
we asked if they had any Monorail cards, one of the CM's said this is your lucky day, he pulled out a monster stack and started sorting through then, out of the 11 Monorail cards that I knew were availible he had 10 of them and gave them to my son  :woohoo:

Score!!

We get to Norway with a few minutes to spare There was only like 25people there (they book them small) Mary Poppins is the Story Teller…

…after the story, she did a one on one with all the kids took pics and signed book markers :goodvibes

Good story within a story. Got any pictures?

As we are passing China and see Mulan…
As we are passing Germany… …It's The Prince… …were 1st in line
We get up to Mexico and Donald is out with a minimal line…

When we are leaving the WS my son starts with TT (I do have FP's in my pocket that were good a couple hours ago) we go to TT and they take the FP's :woohoo:
and of couse while we are there we have to do MS

Let’s see… 10 transpertation card, 1 major story time, three meet & greats, two major attractions… without having actually planed to do much more then breakfast… I do believe that qualifies as a Commando Win right there.

We get to Sea World and get in and it starts to pour…

Typical

we move on and catch the Pets Ahoy show, we get in and we are looking for the VIP seating since we hold Platinum passes, people with reg passes are sitting in those…

…I put on my NJ mad eyes and lean in…

Nicely handled… I’d have moved down as well. What am I saying! I wouldn’t have been in those seats in the first place (if I try to put one over in any situation, I always get busted, so I don’t do it).

there's not a whole lot to do there and we've been there so many times its only like a 3-4 hr park.

Sounds like you got a lot done in a few hours, but if it’s a place you’ve been to a lot, then you already know what to see and what to skip.

my wife and son head for the Lego Store…

…It is priced by the container, so when they had it filled, I dumped it out and repacked it (they had alot of air space :lmao:)

I’ve done this very thing for my young’en (many years ago but…). They made the rules, I just applied them correctly. :lmao:

I suggest we catch a bus to the Contemporary to see the Electrical Water Pageant,

Saw this one for the first time from the “beach” at he WL on out last trip as well. It’s one of those little extras that most folks don’t generally get to see, and it’s a nice little diversion.

There was a lot of Disney in that Non-Disney day. Sounds like y’all had a lot of fun… nice updates.

Today is morning EMH at the MK:cool1: This is my day of Utopian Bliss, most of my trip was focused on the next 4-5 hrs, This is the day I would hold up a beer and say "It just doesn't get any better than this":goodvibes

We enter the MK and the 1st thing my wife wants to do is get a pic with Dasiy Duck (line has about a dozen people in it) let's do it:cool1: My phone is now ringing I answer it and it's Amtrack telling me our trip home has been cancelled due to Irene:scared1: My wife asks who was that and I tell her, she gets the look of panic in her face:eek: she says What are we going to do, why are you laughing:confused3 I'm laughing because no matter how you look at it we now have a extra day at WDW:cool1:

After the M&G the Horse Drawn Trolly is arriving in front of the train station, and we get on, we are in the front row and before we leave we are talking with the CM, and then we head off to the Castle, let me tell you there's nothing likethe feeling of saying I'm here then traveling on a horse drawn trolly down Main St:yay:

When we arrive at the Castle, we head over to Repunzal it is already lined up and she will not be out for another 15mins, since my wife really wants to do this M&G I tell her to stay in line and I'll get breakfast:woohoo: Of course the 1st thing I do is head to SM and get a FP, then I head back to Main St. to do some scouting, I run into The Fire Chief, and the double decker bus is parked in the middle of the street, because the trolly show was going on.

Well I guess I should bring my wife and son back breakfast from the Main St Bakery:banana: I have a apple turnover, a cinn bun for my wife, and a monster cupcake for my son, and I head back to the M&G, we just get done eating and are almost there, it starts to rain:confused3 It last for about 10 mins and the sun came back out:banana:

We meet Repunzal and head over to SM to use the FP (waited maybe 10mins), when we get off we head over to Adventure Land, Tiki Room is 1st on the list, Ok I'll admit I got something planned here:lmao: after my wife and son go thruogh the turnstyle and get on line , I ask the CM if my son could wake up Jose and start the show, she says I think that I can make that happen:yay: we get moved to the front row and are the 1st ones in for a quick briefing and she hands him the stick, when the show was ready to start she announced that a spiecial guest named Hunter was going to wake up Jose and start the show, I had to hold him up so he could reach so it was a small part for me too:cool1: He tapped the pearch and said Wake up Jose, and the show started.

We then did Jungle Cruise (again) and then headed to TM and got a FP and then went to Splash Mountian, and back to use the FP at Thunder Mountian:yay:

It's now around 11:15 and we have to head for the Harmony Barber Shop for the most important part of the day:cool1:

Hay Ron,
Sorry for the delay, but I did get the picture, and I’ll send the originals up to you in a little bit. So, lets not keep everyone else in suspense…

We get to Norway with a few minutes to spare:cool1: There was only like 25people there (they book them small) Mary Poppins is the Story Teller…

Ron-IMG004s.jpg

…and she is talking to the kids, and says something about on of the kids sneakers, My wife makes a comment:confused3

Your the best Rob:thumbsup2 You know what's up next Dapper Dan's & the haircut, I'll have to post it on the DDC, since this is always my Big To Do:goodvibes:confused3 Hope to get some of the guys over to check it out:woohoo:

ok, im caught up. my head is spinning but i caught up.:thumbsup2 im tired just reading your trip report ron. :lmao: man can you move. keep up the good work. :thumbsup2

I guess I should explain why the haircut is a big deal:confused3 It starts alittle over 8 years ago on my Honeymoon, we were wearing the Bride & Groom Ears and we were walking through a shop on Main Street, we were only there less than a half hour and we get cornered in the store by 4 men, they asked when we got Married, and we told them 3 days ago, they made a anouncement and started singing " When You Wish Upon A Star " to us:goodvibes

A few years later we have our son with us and we get on the Horse Drawn Trolly, to get to the Castle, just as we get ready to head off, 4 men jump on the back of the Trolly and sing to my son all the way down Main Street:goodvibes

These 4 men are no other than The Dapper Dan's:cool1: After some research I found that a good time to catch them is around Noon at the Harmony Barber Shop, they often show up and sing a song at that time:confused3 Well last year you were able to make ressies for the barber Shop and we did on our Dec trip, Sure enough the showed in thier Christmas attire and sang some Christmas Songs, My Son and I were in the chairs (talk about front row)

So not to ruin tradition this year I made a Noon ressie, we arrived at HS about 11:45 and decieded to walk around the store before we checked in, my wife and son were checking out some stuff on the other side of the store, and then here come The Dapper Dan's walking through to go to the MS show, I stop them and ask if they will showing up at the BS today they said they always try, then I told them of what happened 8 yrs ago, and we had the Noon ressies, they said they will try to make it:goodvibes

It's about 12:08 my son is in the chair, and the Dapper Dan's arrive, they walk up to the counter and ask me what my wife's name is, I tell them Rachel, They then call Rachel out of the now growing crowd:lmao: One of the Dan's say to my wife, it is to our understanding that 8 yrs ago on your Honeymoon we pinned you 2 in a store and sang "When You Wish Upon A Star" to you, is this correct, My wife says Yes, The one Dan looks at the others and says well you know what we got to do:confused3, they tuned up and started singing "When You Wish Upon A Star" to us, my wife started tearing up:lmao:, (this is a really long song when it's being sung to you:eek:) after they were done I said I know what I have to do, And I gave my wife a big kiss:woohoo: everyone started clapping, for a brief moment we were The Prince & Princess:goodvibes

We then had them sign my son's book and they were on thier way, I got into the chair and it was haircut time, of course the barber (Penny) had something to talk about during the haircut:lmao:

A few days earlier on our Anniversary I gave my wife some WDW gift cards, well I guess I topped it, since she still talks about it:confused3

The Dapper Dan's are a huge part of our WDW trips, to us they keep the Magic of Main Street alive, A trip without seeing them to us is like not seeing Mickey.
Next up, Back to the Resort, Got to make plans, How to get home and a extra day:rolleyes1

:thumbsup2 good tradition to have!! very nice.:thumbsup2

I guess I should explain why the haircut is a big deal...

Great story Ron. I knew you were a fan of all the “little” things the most folks either don’t get or just plain miss, but that explains why you have such a soft spot for the barbershop. We’ve all said it before and we’ll all say it again and again…

Only at Disney.

(got any more pictures that you’d like to get posted?)

After the haircut we go back to the resort to make some unexpected arrangements:eek: Once we get to the room I call Amtrack and I'm told the 1st train that will be running will be on Thurs:scared1: They issued me a full refund:woohoo:

So noe I have to come up with a game plan, I head to the pool bar for a couple drinks, talking to some people there who flew down were saying they got cancelled and can not rebook till Mon and then would be on stand by:scared1: After talking to a few people who really have it bad, and knowing I can't take a extra week off, suddenly something I've been mocked for in the past is making me look really smart:confused3

We take the Autotrain since the drive really beats the heck out of my back, I have to make a ton of stops just to relieve my back, so driving is not my way to go, and you can't get me on a plane (never have, and hopefully never will:scared1:) I can handle the drive to Va. with back not feeling too bad, so we take the Autotrain:goodvibes. But this time alot of people wish they were me:confused3 Oh I have the mini van parked in the parking lot, I have my escape route, although I really dread the drive:eek:

So decision is stay 1 extra night and take 2 days to get home, I'll only have to take 1 extra day off:cool1:

So it's off to the front desk, I explain that our train was cancelled, and needed the room a extra night, The CM was very helpful and we got the room we were staying in a extra night (YES a EXTRA DAY AT WDW:yay:)

We had tickets for the day (we were going to hit a park before we left at noon), and we were behind on the quick serves (2), so all I had to pay was for the room for the extra night:woohoo: And what a day that last day will turn into (details later):confused3

Next up Day 5 HS and the worst dinner service ever:scared1:
