One of the luggage storage places I spoke to had a white one with Mickey stickers on it. From what I had read this one is cream with cards on it? I wonder if there was a fridge swap with the white one and the cream one was given on accident? I really wish the last person that had the fridge would help us out a little. If you're reading this - please let us know so we can track it down And a photo would be excellent if anyone has it!!

Me again....

As I pressed to post the previous one - I was thinking that I thought the fridge was beige ish...... I only saw the fridge for about two minutes and it wasn't in the best of lighting. My friend seems to think it was white but I am not so positive. I know that the one that we had from a different swap was white.

Perhaps my dh will remember what color the fridge is. I will ask him when he gets in.

I wish there were pictures, it would help out.

Just to elaborate on the signs that I made. The signs were with the Swap name printed in large bold font. The white paper was then placed on colored construction paper and then I laminated them. There were three signs on each fridge. (front and sides....) I left shipping tape with our friends so that they could affix the signs before they left (we left to come home two days before them) There also was a sheet protector (with three holes on the left side so it could be used in a binder) that was taped on so that the next persons info could be slid down into it so it would get lost and the fridge wouldn't get so taped up with sticky tape and stickers with incorrect names left on it.

Hi Guys...

I have never actually seen or used this fridge. I took over this swap to keep it running!

From what I've been told the fridge is cream colored and other than the labels that Jan placed on it I can't provide a better description.

The fridge was left at All Star Sports in a room for luggage services to pick up. It hasn't been seen since. The swapper that left it there hasn't answered my PM's and never sent the luggage ticket number to the next swapper as promised. From what I can gather the fridge should be labelled with Kelly's name but that can't be confirmed unfortunately.

The fridge should stand out if it's there as it's not the standard black or white fridge. I really wish we could roll back time. I will try calling luggage services at All Star Sports tomorrow to see if they have any insite on what may have happened to the fridge...I wonder if it is still in the room since luggage services doesn't seem to have it?!? Rather hard to verify that though since I don't have a room number...

I'll do some homework and see what I can find out! Thanks again Kelly, Jan and Susan for help...it's greatly appreciated

Sending you pixie dust that your fridge is found. Unfortunately, the 2 fridges of mine that went MIA were also left in the room "to be picked up by bell services" and were never seen again.

I wonder if there is a way to find out where the resorts store their fridges. Perhaps housekeeping has a separate area where the fridges are kept?
Maybe that's where all the lost fridges are.....

If the signs are still on the fridge - it would be obvious that it was a fridge from a swap.

Perhaps we can check with one of the previous swappers to see if the signs were still on it....?

I was one of the first people to use this fridge back in August, 2009. I can confirm that yes, the fridge is beige and not white. It is an older fridge, not a newer model. I'm trying, trying to think of the brand name on it but I can't. I do not have a pic of it. Hope it is located, it was a great fridge!

The best thing that we can do is call both AKLV and the POLY to see if they have it sitting in their luggage services. I have found luggage service to be helpful over the phone. If it is at one of them we can request it be shipped back to one of the All Star Resorts preferrably the one Susan will be staying at. I can't call until tonight. If someone else calls before then please post here so that others know the calls were made.

The other thing we can do is call Sports with the room number (2235 at Sports) and date (June 14th) to see what they can do for us. Ultimately someone has to know where the fridge went whether it's luggage services, bell services or house keeping.

The Disney site should have a place where you can get the phone numbers of the resorts. Might take a while finding it though. OR....

Hope I am allowed to do this.... http://allears.net/acc/res_phn.htm It is a listing of all the resorts and their phone numbers....

I remember talking to people at luggage services once when the fridge was missing before.... Most are very helpful.... Remember to get the names of the CM's (in case you need to reference them or thank them later) cuz sometimes you end up talking to a few people.

I called Sports, the Poly, and Animal Kingdom and so far no luck I did ask the one person if they had a "luggage manager" type person where maybe we can send them an email with the description and they can send out an all-call to the resorts. He said he'd connect me with a manager, but I was sent to the main desk at the Poly and he didn't know how to do that. They sent me to Lost and Found, but when I called there - they said they don't get stuff from the resorts. They did say every resort has a lost and found. Maybe that's the next place to call - the lost and founds at all the All-Stars?

Right now I'm leaving my parent's house to go home to finish packing and getting up around 2:30 am to head to the airport. If anyone gets the chance to check the lost and founds, let me know. I'll try in between the other stuff I'm doing LOL. I will still bring the stuff I printed out to give to all the All-Star bell services. If anyone does find it - I'm staying at MUSIC, so if they can get it there - that would be great

I'll keep you all posted on what I find out. And thanks a ton on all the info!!

No luck - I just spoke to Cindy at the AllStars lost & found. She said all lost & found for AllStars are with her, but that the luggage is all separate for each AllStar resort & suggested we check with all 3.

I know SusanWasHere called ASsports/AKVL/Poly luggage but I'm going to try Music & Movies - ya never know!

Cindy @ lost & found thought WDW put a stop to the fridge swap, said they used to get them all the time but it's been about a year since one came into lost & found. I did let her know the FREE fridge swap is still going on following Disney rules not to exchange money, etc. this is just between the guests. Anyway, I'll post what I find calling ASMusic & movies.

Karen @ Music luggage services handed out a white fridge today or yesterday but has NOT seen a beige fridge.

JC @ Movies luggage has not seen any fridges lately.

Even though SusanWas here had called, I tried ASsports for sh**s & giggles, spoke to a very helpful Andre in luggage services. He said a white fridge left today but could not find a beige one (the white one must be the other free fall into allstars fridge).

ANyway, I explained what happened to Andre, that we THINK J.Jameson of room 2235 checked out on the 14th, had a car but we think they used the ASsports bellhop to transfer their stuff over to AKLV or the Poly. So Andre said he was going to see if he could check the transfer Van person's log who worked on the 14th by calling celebrity hall and have them check with the warehouse that schedules ME and all the luggage comings & goings to see if they can track down our fridge. ANd he offered to call me back to let me know either way.

Called the POLY, spoke to.....um, I think Crystal or Christy....in luggage services, she has been there the past week & has not seen any beige fridge come in or out & they handle the ME luggage as well.

But she transferred me to the POLY lost & found, they are now closed, open 8-4pm but I LM asking them to call me to say if they have a beige fridge in their lost & found that would have been left there on or around June 21-22, guessing that's when J.Jameson checked out of their if they followed through on their plans posted back in April.

It's a long shot but you never know
