Mid Size weekly rate 150.00 including all taxes/fees:goodvibes

MCO was cheaper than renting at the Car Care Center this time!

Used the Costco webite for rental cars!

So do you have to be a Costo member? Or is there a code you can share?

Not sure if I will need to show my Costco card or not....I have never used a Costco code before.

If you go to www.costco.com and click on rental cars, then Alamo you will see different promotions. I used the one with the 30.00 coupon and a percentage off as well. The codes will appear on the page where you put in your travel information.

Big savings!

Good Luck:goodvibes

I booked Alamo using the BJ's Wholesale club discount this week (sorry I still can't post links) but using the free day coupon I was able to book 9 days (compact) from 10/9 - 10/18/10. It was $114/week plus $16/day for the two extra days. with the free day it was only $130 plus taxes/fees for all nine days = $192 total for all

HTH someone!

I just used the Coupon and Code from the BJs link.
My dates are 9/24-10/5/2010.
Total with all taxes = $220.65

Unlimited Miles and Free additional Driver

I have found in the past when using a promo code for a free additional driver I haven't been able to use the Kiosks. Both drivers have had to go to the counter and sign.

Anyone know a way around this? Can I still go to Kiosk and then have them fix it when I check out in the garage?

I have rented several times with Alamo and used the kiosk. Never had a problem with having the 2nd driver listed. I rent the car in my DH's name/license # and I'm the second driver. I may have had to input my driver's license as one of the steps using the kiosk, but I can't remember for sure. But, I know I NEVER go to the counter anymore and I always have a coupon/discount code and me as 2nd driver. There's usually an Alamo rep hanging around the kiosks(in my experience)so you could always have them walk you thru the kiosk steps.

Just noticed you mentioned having a promo code for 2nd driver. My DH is a member of the Alamo Quiksilver club, which is why I get included as a 2nd driver for free. Might want to sign up for that program so it's then not an issue.
