Okay, so for anyone who's stayed at AKV on the fifth floor, particularly near the sunset savanna side... have you noticed the gate that blocks off access to the stairway up to the 6th floor (concierge level)? Am I the only one who has noticed that it looks like anyone could easily enough reach their arm through the gate from underneath and simply open it from the other side?
I should be clear that I did not actually do this, although it was really really tempting at times
That said, I can authoritatively tell you that the outer stairwells that are separated from the building floors by fire doors all seem to work the same way... the only door that is locked from the outside is the 6th floor (e.g. you can go downstairs from floor 6 using those stairwells, but not back up) Also, the elevator button for floor 6, without inserting a club level room key, won't stay illuminated, no matter how many times you press it. And even by the last day, that gate on the fifth floor was still really really tempting.
