AKL - night vision goggles

Has anyone ever brought a pair of the kids night vision goggles (I think they're cyclops brand)? Do they work for the savannahs? My nephews have them, and we might borrow a set if they are strong enough.

You may not need to bring them.

When we've been there, there's been a cast member on the Arusha Savanna at night with a set for the guests to look through. They worked pretty well.

When we were there last September there were only 2 pairs and we had quite a crowd waiting most of the time we were there. You just had to be patient and wait your turn to use them.

What time do they do this program? We have a late dinner at Sanaa (8:45!), so I was curious if we'd be able to check out the googles after our meal.

We had dinner at boma @ 7 and decided to walk around the resort a little bit.

There was no one there using the goggles, so the CMs let us look through them for about 15 minutes or so. We let some people that came up take a turn, and then we put them back on.

Pretty cool way to end the night!
