It's finally official. We are going to Disney for the week of Thanksgiving. I hated the idea of going at such a busy season, but nothing else will work for us and we are going to take time to appreciate our very expensive resort and spend slightly less time in the parks. O'hana for THanksgiving Day! So Excited! Even got reservations already for Cinderella's Castle at 8:20 the day we will be in MK!

Would appreciate any info about Thanksgiving week at Disney, about AKL, or about AKL in November. We got a pool view room. Any suggestions for the best rooms?

Congrats on your Thanksgiving trip :goodvibes

It's a wonderful time to go. We were at Disney this past November from the Friday before Thanksgiving till the Monday after. The weather was perfect and the Christmas decorations were so amazing especially the Castle Lights.

The days leading up to Thanksgiving we not any busier than during the summer months which is when we normally travel. We took advantage of the morning EMH and were able to do everything we wanted.

We decided not to go to the parks on Thanksgiving day due to the crowds. We did attend HDDR the day after and then went to MK in the evening.

Happy planning :goodvibes

Congratulations and see you there. We are doing a DVC split stay 15-21 at BC and then AKL 21-25.

I think you and I will both be very happy at AKL. It's my first stay at AK so I don't have any suggestions.

We decided to do Boma for Thanksgiving night so we wouldn't be far from home.

Have a great trip.
