is it really worth it-the food?? I dont mind paying, but is the food good?? can you ask for additional items such as french toast or pancakes-I hate eggs personally. Its booked for my daughter for her bday (7th), and I'm liking the princess interaction, but there's 7 of us going -if I'm gonna spend $200.00 on breakfast-I want it to be good. See we also have dinner ressies at 1900 park fare that day so between the 2 meals we're eating about $400.00 for the day-I want it to be worth it...help. Thank you.

WOW! I went for lunch in August and loved it. I thought my food was very good, but the cold buffet was kind of strange. I'd imagine breakfast to have more normal selections, after all it IS Disney and there are tons of picky eaters! The price is CLEARLY for the princess interaction, which to me is worth it. I'd rather pay that price and have something to eat instead of not get a meal and wait in line forever to meet them! We also did 1900 PF dinner, which IMO is another one that is worth it just for the characters.

we ate at Akershus for dinner, so I won't be able to speak to the food aspect, but the food we had was really good. and the service was excellent. I would probably go there again before going to CRT.

One thing to keep in mind at least for us, the price also included photos with the princess upon arrival.

Right, the cold food was sort of weird and unappetizing when I went.

Akershaus breakfast the food is good and there's a big variety but you are def. paying for the characters and the complementary photo. We love 1900 Park Fare I would actually pick this meal over Akershaus any day , the food is just outstanding in my opinion for being a buffet & character meal. Actually this year I let my daughter pick where she wanted to go by asking her what princess she wanted to see and she said Cinderella so 1900 Park Fare it was .princess:

The potatoes on the family style breakfast platter were yummy. We did not care for the rest of the food, though. The cold buffet was not appetizing. The character interaction was fabulous, however. Wonderful. Service was great. For me it was worth the cost because of how great the characters were. Disney food is expensive, and we certrainly didn't leave hungry, although we are not the pickiest of eaters!

We eat at both places each time that we go to WDW...the Princess Breakfast and the 1900 Park Fare Dinner. If I had to say which is more worthwhile I would choose the 1900 Park Fare Dinner every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Don't get me wrong, the Princess Storybook breakfast is good, the interaction is good and you get the photo. But, the character interaction at 1900 Park Fare is, in my opinion, the best. The atmosphere is super fun, the food is positively fantastic, and it's way more original than the "princess concept".

There's no wrong decision here, because that's a really great breakfast...but that's one heck of a dinner. :goodvibes

Can I intrude on your post and ask about the complimentary picture when you enter? Does each person get one or is it one per group? I would love the kids individual pics with a princess. Thanks :)

When I went it was one per group as far as the large picture goes. It also came with a few smaller photos as well.

Is the photo complimentary now? When we were there in June, we had to pay for the package which included one 8x10 photo and a few wallet size photos. Of course we bought it, but it surely was not complimentary.

Back to the OP, we have never done 1900 Park Fare, but PSB is worth every penny in our book. We originally were not going to do it in March but my DH decided that he loved the breakfast too much, plus the intereaction with the Princesses and our girls are priceless. We actually like this princess breakfast more than CRT.

we just went this past week. For a party of 7, 2 photo packages were included. I thought the food was excellent. We asked for more eggs/potatoes which they brought without a problem. The princess interaction was great, except we were long done with our breakfast before they got to us. Not the end of the world, but I guess it all depends on where you are seated.

We went to Akershurs for breakfast in Dec. It was awesome. The characters were great. Food was good as well. This I believe was actually one of my DH's fav meals. We did 1900 PF and hated it we will not be returning. We are a family of 5 and we got 2 of the photo packages. It was well worth the money!
