We will be arriving around noon and plan on going straight to AK for a half day. Wishes is that night @ MK and was wondering if we are going to have time to do AK and see Wishes that night at MK? Thoughts and suggestions please!

Good luck especially if you have been there before.

AK would take a good day and half. MK 2 to 3 days.

Hi! You should definitely not have a problem being able to do both! Animal Kingdom usually closes a couple hours before Wishes starts anyways!

The amount of time you spend at ak just depends on what you like to see & do. Every time I've been, my family has been in & out in 1/2 a day, the last time was over Easter break & that included 6 times on ee. On the other hand, 1/2 a day wouldn't cut it for us at mk.

There are some factors to consider:

When are you going? If you are going during low season odds are better. If you are going in the middle of summer - it's gonna be tough and feel like a marathon.

Do you have small kids with you? If yes, do you think they can handle a marathon day ( only you'll be able to gauge what your kids can handle ). If no, again odds are better.

If you are looking to do a few specific items at Animal Kingdom ( like the Safari, EE and Dinosaur ) and you aren't worried about missing some of the details then you probably can get AK completed and some of MK.

I wouldn't expect to be able to completely do both parts in 1 day, especially when starting out mid-day.

Depends on how much you do there. We have never spent more than 4-5 hours at AK. If we get there at opening we are back by 3, so I personally would say it would be fine. But if you want to see everything...no.

I think some of you are missing the fact that the OP won't be arriving until noon and since her ticker indicates she's going to be there in mid-October, she's only going to have 5 hours there anyway. (Also, she didn't say anything about it being the only day she planned on going to AK.) Since Wishes is running at 10:00 in October (on nights when MNSSHP isn't running), she'll obviously have plenty of time to do both in one day.

Thanks guys! We are only going to MK that night for wishes. We will have 2 other days for MK that week for attractions. I think 5-6 hours at AK will be plenty for us!!
