Ak extended hours?

I was looking at the hours of the parks this weekend, and it shows Ak opened till 7 on Friday. Is that common? I thought they only opened till 5 normally. Is it normal, or because of the holiday week coming up?

We've been having a lot of 6 and 7pm closings lately, and it will continue throughout the summer from what I'm told

AK staying open later is part of the magic mornings and whatever nights program going on right now. Some parks are opening one hour early..some are staying open later on certain nights of the week.

I think its great..since daylight is lasting longer these days.
