Nope. People on RFD are purchasing .15 cents of Amazon gift cards in 25 separate purchases. So why not. LOL I'm seriously debating doing the same with AMEX.

Wait... would payments count? Or just purchases? I hate to burst your bubble, but I'm not sure payments would count as purchases.

They do with my mastercard. Mine are pre-authorized payments but payments none the less.
Now this idea with the Amazon gift cards...….interesting. Where do you go to buy the gift cards in those increments? Mastercard, I'm always fine however I'm struggling with my Amex.

My DH used the shell fill up coupon for 64L yesterday (I also opted in but he payed inside) and the receipt only shows 1 AM. He says the cashier scanned it (looked at it weird) and took it. Ugh. I'll wait to see if the bonus posts but don't have high hopes. Guess I'll add another transaction...

Second question. If I go to Rexall tomorrow I wouldn’t be able to spend $50 get 100AM AND use one of the STB coupons on that same purchase correct ? Double dipping would probably be to good to be true but thought I would check.

I have a few ideas bubbling away at the back of my mind for another helpful post on the first page -- i think it would help if we had a list of when to use each coupon to make sure no one messes up and either shops too early OR too late! Then I will *TRY* to add a daily reminder within the body of the thread when a date arrives.

Quick answer to @pigletto --yes the Rexall coupon COULD stack if it was valid tomorrow, the first doesn't start till Monday and the 2nd not till Dec 3rd

It's SUPER easy to add money to a gift card on your Amazon account, essentially you are adding money to your account.

1. Add a payment method to your account under Payment Options
2. If you don't already have a gift card on your account, purchase one, if you do, simply "reload" with any amount you want using which ever payment method you want!

**side note, i had to had a bunch of tiny leftover amounts from prepaid visa cards (this is a GREAT way to use those up before they expire BTW) and I ended up earning AM on it since it was over $20 .. even though the terms clearly say you don't!

THANK YOU!! I just made 5 X $1 deposits to my account so that is 5 more items off the Amex offer. This is going to really help as I will be away for more than two weeks and it gets a bit tough to complete when your time is limited. Again THANK YOU!!

Lol. I did that last year when they had targeted BMO offers and I had to do 98 transactions to get the bonus AM. I paid my $170 cable bill in $10 increments and loaded my transit card in $5 and $10 increments. Lol

Alright then, I just bought $26 in amazon.ca giftcards (or reloaded I guess?) using my BMO MC in $1 increments. I got a little lost when adding so did an extra one lol. So check? I have two done! I'll do Shell tomorrow, when I actually want to go drive somewhere.

Three down, four more to go!

I purchased a $25 LCBO gift card at Shell and receipt says "PROMO 939" on it and gave me 7 air miles, which is what I expected.

I used the LCBO gift card next for the Jacob's Creek Chardonnay and a small bottle of Kahlua for my husband. Receipt shows nothing but the SKU # matches the one listed at shoptheblock.

I went to Foodland and spent just over $60. Guess what?! The receipt shows "Promotional PLU 37" (in the list of items purchased) AND specifically says "Shop the Bock 20 miles" right underneath my "1 AM for every $20" at the bottom of the receipt. Total miles earned 23. No guessing!

Oh yes, the fourth. EDITED Not my 4th!!! This is suppose to go on my husband's AM card. So I have only completed three. I ordered a meat lasagna from the fresh2goMetro for pick-up on Sunday. Does anyone know how to apply that no-bar-code coupon?? It says to give it to the Cashier but what the heck does she do with it? EDITED: apparently the Cashier is suppose to punch on that PLU # listed on the back of the coupon.

I didn't have an AM card last time so I'm guessing based on what others said above (and comments on RFD). However, I do show 26 amazon transactions pending on my AM BMO MC. Hopefully they post as separate transactions! I opted in yesterday. I don't see why it wouldn't work! I do actually use amazon a lot so it isn't really a loss if it didn't work, or all posts as one transaction. I will report back when they post (as opposed to being still pending).

Well my brother went out and got gas today but had to pay inside because I still have some save .05 cents per litre coupons from Sobeys but since I wasn't with him he didn't know he had to use the shop the block coupon. I had opted in online but that is if you pay at the pump and you can't with the Sobey's coupons. Guess we will fill up the other vehicle tomorrow when I can save .05 with Sobeys and the bonus weekend Shell deal and save another .03 per litre for a total of .08 per litre. We have 2 Jeeps so they can take more than 25 litres per fill up. Then I will have also fulfilled my put in 25l 4 times in the month and get a bonus of 100 miles. He did remember to get me a brochure though.
