Anyone have any airfare info for Nov. 2 to Nov. 7? I can't find a fare lower than $500.00 per person>

We booked as soon as the fares came up (February maybe) out of ACY because we have seen both ACY and Philly hit crazy amounts for that week.

We have driven to BWI to get the <250 PP fares in the past and it's not too bad a drive.

Where in NJ are you? Can you fly out of JFK or LGA? They have flights for under $300 roundtrip.

I booked the day fares came up on continental in EWR. I was able to get 906 for 4 people

Continental EWR-MCO Nov2-8 $229 pp.
But we booked in late February, it's a different story now. Even then I had to book a Monday return flight instead of Sunday because I procrastinated for 5-6days and the airfare went crazy!! Good luck!

I just booked Newark to Tampa for those same dates last week for $198. I just checked and those rates are still available. Might be worth looking into...

Great option CrusinPT, thanks! I can pass this info along to friends who wanted to join us but were scared by JerseyWeek airfare. Cant remember, but I think this is a better rate than when I looked into TPA in Feb. (oil spill lessened demand, maybe?) Checked alot of surrounding airports trying to get the best fare for my times/dates. I was happy to get $208 to MCO (before taxes and fees) and kids only miss 2 days.

BTW...a little off topic, sorry. This is our first trip in Nov, for those of you who have been during JW before...how are the crowds? Specifically Universal. I have read mixed opinions. Everything from "it's empty" to "OMG dont go then, it's JERSEY week!!" LOL!!
TIA!!

We booked out outbound airfare in February (we're leaving out of PHL on US Airways on Monday 11/1 @8am, good deal) but we've not booked airfare home. I'm actually debating taking the first flight home on Monday the 8th and going right to work but will probably decide against it.

If we fly out of Jacksonville to PHL @ 3pm on Sunday the 4th, we'd get a direct for $112 pp. I figure the drive to JAX is about 110 miles. No way i'd pay what they're asking ($250pp one way) from Orlando on Sunday the 7th.

Gov. Christie will be taking over Atlantic City banning the teachers from using the Convention Center ! Thus NO teacher convntion :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

This is why we go to DLR for that weekend. It's usually cheaper to fly to LAX than MCO.

We had to get creative. we are leaving on a direct flight out of EWR on Thursday before Jersey week (28th) and returning on a Trip with a layover on the next Saturday late in the evening, There was a significant Savings.

We have direct flights from phl to mco on 10/29 and 11/7 for $1200 for 4 people. Not great but ok for the dates we wanted.

I just booked Newark to Tampa for those same dates last week for $198. I just checked and those rates are still available. Might be worth looking into...

How far is Tampa airport? Is it a bad drive?? at this rate might be our only option...
thanks

When choosing Orlando versus tampa , I would check your car rental prices before making the commitment.
