I tend to think these are yet another of the annual new cooking devices you see being sold. Popular for a time, then people decide they don't really use it enough or it is limited to success with a few specific products. I thought if you have a convection oven it accomplishes basically the same thing.

I kind of agree..... maybe I'll find a nice 2ndhand model soon to try it out in the meanwhile I need a new oven/stove and I'm going to get a convection oven....maybe if I had big counter space,I'd be more able to try it out...

We don't have a convection oven and we use our air fryer almost everyday. It's one of the few "fad" devices we've bought and still continue to use. In fact, if it were to break, we would not hesitate to get another one we rely on it/love it so much.

saw a review of them last winter they were called "this years instapot". That said, I got one for $30 on Amazon around Christmas, love it and use it several times every week. On the smaller side but I am a one person household. Love making foods that are a lot healthier.
