Ahoy November 12th, 2009 Cruisers!!

Congrats on all of you getting some extra time in the World. Today was my 90days to make dining reservations. The only sitdown we are going to do on our 5 days post cruise is dinner at Chef Mickeys. I am not certain of which day, have it narrowed down to 2(either sun or tuesday and planned on just booking both days). So called, but they are having problems with their 90+10 system... so could only book it for Sunday right now(the day I think we will be eating there is Tuesday). So have to call back later. My brother has been in visiting from Atlanta so I haven't had time for my disney obsession lately. My dh started back to school today, my kids start next Monday. As much as I can't wait for our disney vacation, I still hate to see summer end. :headache:

I am fighting tooth and tail but I think I'm losing :( My 9th grade DD started her homeschooling today by choice! I said we should go to Six Flags! I'm not always sure we are related....

Oh, we will have to talk at the end of the school year. My girls go to a catholic school. We just got a new priest and I am concerned they are going to shut the school down after this school year. Our public schools here are not good(dh teaches at one of them), so homeschooling may be in our future too.

This is so exciting!:cool1:

We decided to take a later flight home, so we can spend our last day at Downtown Disney!!!

Earl of Sandwiches for lunch!! We are leaving late too. Want to do downtown Disney....but not sure what else.

The reviews for Bay Lake Tower are great, so I have changed my plan from getting off the ship and heading to Sea World. We are going straight to BLT and will enjoy the resort, probably head over to MK for a bit and do our traditional Chef Mickey dinner. We will do SW on Wednesday. By then(a full week into our trip) we will be tired and since we are going mostly to enjoy the shows, it will be a good day to just sit a bit more(although I am sure there will still be some walking to do). The Contemporary resort has always brought back wonderful memories of my trip their with my neice, so looking forward to that cozy feeling too! Yea, another decision made!

Found this on the cruise thread!!!!!

Actually the ships are decorated before mid-November. We found this out on our 11/13/03 cruise and the ship has been decorated around this time each year. CC is not decorated until the day after Thanksgiving. Your DD and your future SIL will be able to have their pictures taken in front of the huge tree in the atrium.

This was the official schedule from 2008:

Quote:
Cruise Terminal-November 7-January 14
Disney Magic-November 15-January 15
Disney Wonder-November 9-January 13
Castaway Cay-November 27-January 13

Wondering if I should bring the Castillo's sock monkey onsies to take pictures with.

from past experience-CC was decorated for the Thanksgiving week cruise of 2007 and they were starting to do the Magic as we cruised. They had started a really cool life sized ginger bread house on Wednesday of that week. By the time we hit the Port on Friday lights were going up in the atrium.

Mickey mail was delivered to the Castillo household yesterday.....anyone else???

I'm trying not to obsess with this trip, but I just can't seem not to....I've been planning and budgeting and planning....you don't know how many websites I've been on trying to find the perfect FE gift....LOL. None are too good for my Dis friends :lovestruc

Lynne, send me list of ages...make sure I get the kids right. The way the summer is going here...I may have my summer clothes packed for vacation soon.

My family is gonna get you for adding yet another layer to my obsession!!!! DD walked up as I was watching videos and just shook her head. I hadn't gotten into the videos before, just pics. You're a bad influence.
I'm practicing if DH finds out.... "what videos? :confused3 "
Better go, the kids are nagging because we can't go to Six Flags until we do some housework. Ugh.

I'm right behind ya with the obsessing. I am scouring the stores for last minute summer stuff for the ever growing DS and general cruise type stuff!:thumbsup2 You say it like it is a bad thing:confused3
:rotfl:
PS
hey Lynn, I could use a list of everyone on the FE list actually, with kid ages too if you've got 'em,thanx!

AGAIN!!! Mickey mail....it's the "paid in full" invoice....but it's from Mickey...LOL:lmao::lmao:
