Being a newbie, we can't book anything til 75 days. Has anyone done the stingrays on CC? Could my DD3 just hang out with us? It says for age 5 and up? And I still need to post more to be able to do pictures or anything.

The stingrays are a lot of fun. I did them in Feb. The stingrays are on a special part of the beach....I'm not sure if they will let your DD3 hang out...but she could go to the kids club while you were feeding the stingrays.

We did the stringray excursion in Nassau (not on Castaway Cay). It was fun to take the boat ride over to the island where the stringrays are. They fed you a basic but very good lunch and there was a beutiful small beach on the island as well (that we spent time on when we were not feeding the stringrays). Feeding the stringways was a matter of walking directly off the beach into the water about knee deep. You could even go all the way into the water to swim with them if you wanted to. My son, who was about 6 at the time, wanted nothing to do with these creatures gliding by his legs but others had little ones that they were holding and they were fasinated by the fish (are stringrays technically fish??) swimming right underneath them. That was 3 or 4 years ago so hopefully things did not change with the excursion since then.

We just need to book some time at Flounders. I sure hope DS likes it this time! Last time he lasted about 20 minutes before we were paged.

Still debating if we are going to do anything in Nassau...

So I get all excited to book excursions ...but then I remember when I was online the other day that the excursion date when I can book seemed later than everyone is mentioning.....so I go online and check...and it says I can book on AUGUST 29th!!!

On the phone now with DCL to make sure they have my CC numbers....they said they did, but I see they don't!

So I get all excited to book excursions ...but then I remember when I was online the other day that the excursion date when I can book seemed later than everyone is mentioning.....so I go online and check...and it says I can book on AUGUST 29th!!!

On the phone now with DCL to make sure they have my CC numbers....they said they did, but I see they don't!

Are you paid in full? That's the only other reason why I can think of they wouldn't have the dates right.

Mmm, I love Palos and the spa.

Not sure why spa treatments you are thinking about but I loved loved loved the Alone Time in the Spa Villa. It was fabulous!!!!! I think I'm going to book it again.

I wanted to do the couples villa...I was going to do it last time but we ended up doing the couples massage instead. I heard the villa is awesome!

It really is. I did the Alone Time on CC. nothing like soaking in the private hot tub looking out over the island and the blue water and then getting your massage or facial afterwards.

We did massages last time...Honestly...I didn't care for it that much. I am pretty tender skinned and even after I said something it was too hard. I thought about having a facial this time...Has anyone done one onboard?

I've done the facial. Just be sure to request "no sales pitch" or else they will try to sell you $500 worth of productes. They are very relaxing....no extractions or anything painful.

Also, for the new folks....there will be "specials" on port days...one of the best deals they offer is a Sampler which is like a mini facial/massage combo. Best of both worlds. Check you navigator for the deals.

I know I want to get the Rainforest Pass and I think we are going to do the Exotic Rasul this time too. We didn't do it last time for some reason and I heard it's very relaxing.

I am SO jealous!!! I am dying to do the spa stuff but DH isn't into it. Last time I almost had him talked into the exotic rasul.
No excursions for us this time. Last time we did the snorkeling excursion at CC. It was cool but so is the free snorkeling area. I would be very surprised if we get off at Nassau. We did not last time.
So far DH won't be pursuaded to stay extra days in Florida. I really tried. We love Caribbean Beach Resort but no dice. He is thinking about a trip to Destin, FL in the spring. He's got me there. We would give up days at Cocoa Beach and Orlando for the Hilton SanDestin Resort.
90 days - I had better start obsessing!!! I don't even have a rental car yet. I normally reserve with a few companies and keep checking every week or two for better rates. I just cancel reservations when something better comes along. Off to take a look at rates...

Ugggh the only thing I hate about the 90 day mark is how crammed the web-site gets. I think I lucked out w/changing around some booking but I'm not sure since I can't get back on the web-site to confirm I need a sedative!

Boy I really had some Pixie Dust come my way tonight! I went online to see if a better stateroom was available and there was....I nabbed a Secret Porthole Room!

I am not impressed with the car rental rates. I did book three cars just in case. I have Budget from MCO to port $65.00 then port to MCO $69.00. I also booked Thrifty from MCO to port about $60.00. I was figuring on keeping each car only about 22hours.
What did you guys get?

I was booked through Avis from MCO to Port (pickup 11/11 drop off 11/12) for 55.00 and then Port to MCO (11/15-11/15) for 34.00. If you want the code I used send me a PM.

Couples spa stuff sounds wonderful (especially the massage out on CC), however DH is not a fan
I did have a manicure last time and it wasn't 10 minutes before it was messed up and I had to go back. Even then it did not last more than a couple of days. It was certainly not the best one I have ever had. I don't know if they don't put a durable top coat on or what.
