Hi, has anyone done this? My dd9 and ds12 can't wait to try this. We've never done anything like this before. Just wondering if anyone can give me a brief description of how it works? Thanks in advance

You sign up at different locations in the World Showcase and they give you a F.O.N.E.(although I believe the F.O.N.E.s may be used from your own smartphone now, I'm not sure). You go to the country of your "mission" and begin-it's lots of fun and VERY interactive but if I say too much it won't be a surprise! Each country has a separate set of places to go and things to do-might I suggest France as a definite? :magnify:

Yes, you can use your own phone, instead of using theirs. Japan is probably my DD7 favorite but she has loved them all. Know that you can do it at your own pace, so if you want to take a break, you can and just restart it when you want to.

Great. Thank you. So we sign up and follow the prompts? Do we have to choose the missions in each country or does it know where we are?

You chose the first mission when you are with the CM signing up. Then once you finish a mission if a country needs saving it will offer a list of countries you can choose from in order to continue playing. If too many people are in a county it will not offer you it and if all countries are full (sometimes does happen in summer) it will direct you to a phone drop box (not sure what it does on your own device).

Agent P holds a special place for me because that is where I did my college program.

I haven't done Britain (which I believe gets you something) but in France you get a pressed penny.

I love the perry adventures!

There aren't really "prizes" for finishing - more like some things that you can keep (or not) involved in the missions. In England you receive a golf ball in one of the phones, but then have to insert it into the golf ball cleaner in the sports shop in order to get the next clue. In France as mentioned you do get an Agent P pressed penny. Realize though this isn't always the case - you have to get that specific clue. Basically each country will have around 8 possible clues/activities/stations and each mission will only include 5 of them. So you may not always get the one that involves the free item. In England I know we've gotten a tea bag. In China a fortune cookie (that you had to break open to get a code). That's all I can think of.

And Norway had a "Business Card",but the Norway Mission was terminated due to the construction.

The cool thing about the Pressed Penny in France is that it is unique-it can't be obtained any other way than through the Mission(and you don't have to put quarters into the machine and they even give you the penny to insert!).:)

Do we need to provide our own penny (and quarters) for the machine if we get that clue?

Someone asked about prizes. There are no prizes for Agent P. A very small portion of players do get take away items that are theirs to keep. Right now the take aways are

China - Fortune Cookie
UK - Tea bag
France - Pressed Penny

The tea bag in UK is the one you are most likely to receive. France is the least likely. China there has been a thought for a long time that it is based on the zodiac you enter into the game but not 100% sure. For China and UK you could in theory just say the secret code and you would get it as it does not require the game to activate anything as proof. However in France there is no way to get the penny if you do not get that clue as the phone controls the penny press.

Do you think 3 is too young to enjoy it? Her mother and I would obviously be with her to help.

3 may be a little too young. It is roughly 30-45 minutes (sometimes less sometimes more depending on crowds and your ability to figure out the queues) and requires some thought. You and her mother would end up doing everything and that is if you can even get the phone away from the 3 year old to press the right buttons.
