I'm curious about the age and political spectrum on the CB

So far Moderates, then Conservatives then Liberals.

:o I pushed the wrong button - I'm 22-40, moderate, not under 21 and moderate!

I'm 28 and voted conservative in this poll although I try to vote libertarin in all elections because while I am conservative, I have no desire to make other people be conservative.

If this poll is any indication of the general population, it sure does show why both candidates NEED to persuade the moderates to their side of the playing field, doesn't it?

For the record, I'm in the Conservative age 22 to 40, group

Liberal age 22-40, dangerously close to 41. :(

Well it is interesting that moderates and conservative are pretty evenly representated. Liberals are not really that far behind.

I consider myself a moderate who is over 41.

Huh?

27. I selected moderate but I'd probably classify myself as more moderate leaning towards conservative.

i chose moderate, but i'm more towards the liberal side of that. i have some conservative financial and libertarian leanings that tend to push me more towards the center.

i was a flaming liberal until i got to college. :p

I was too. In college I became more moderate, not at 27, I'm definately a moderate leaning towards conservative. Another 10-15 years and I should be a flaming conservative, then maybe the cylce will repeat ?

;)

i think college tends to have a moderating effect on people. dh was REALLY conservative when he first came to college. (i thought he was a big jerk when i first met him! :p :o )

31 and conservative, but I've been that way since I was 10 or 11.:p

Some quotes:

To be conservative at 20 is heartless and to be a liberal at 60 is plain idiocy. Sir Winston Churchill (1874 - 1965)

It only takes 20 years for a liberal to become a conservative without changing a single idea. Robert Anton Wilson

It depends. Can someone please give me a simple definition of liberal, moderate, and conservative ;)? Then maybe I can label myself :teeth:. All I know is that I fit into the 22-40 age group.

simple. I have many "conservative" views ( like being opposed to abortion for example ) but I have no desire to enforce my views on everyone else by law.

"If at 18 you are not a Democrat (liberal) you don't have a heart, if at 30 you are not Republican (conservative) you don't have a brain."

This is a phrase I heard somewhere. I'm not passing judgement on anyone, just thought it was interesting.
