Hello!

So me and my DBF are going to WDW in January. I know the parks close super early...so does anyone have any ideas on what activities there are to do on the Disney property? Also, we are driving down from NJ so we will have our car if anyone has any ideas outside the property as well. Thanks!

On property, we go to Downtown Disney, for shopping and eating. We've even taken in a show. We also go to Boardwalk to see the buskers.

Off property, we go to Old town on Saturday night to see the free car cruise.

We always go off season . We enjoy music at DTD, catching a game at ESPN or a hotel bar and meeting new people. Relaxing and having a few drinks on our balcony at the resort. Swimming and hot tubbing. I'm dying to try Splitsville or Disney Quest on our next trip in January!

We enjoy making Signature Dining ADRs around 7:30-8:00 and making food and wine our evening entertainment. When the parks are open late, we often find ourselves eating crappy food in order not to cut into park time. In the off-season, we enjoy leisurely dinners without worrying about getting that fourth turn on Space Mountain.

the closest thing WDW has to nightclubs: Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance at the Boardwalk. Jellyrolls has a cover and AD is not open every night (and may be rented for private functions.)

we go to DTD grab a sandwich at Earl of Sandwich. Sometimes we catch a movie or go bowling. Lots to do at DTD.

Definitely the Boardwalk area - there is a great bakery. We love to sit and have dessert and coffee on the boardwalk - or Beaches and Cream ice cream shop at the BC/YC resort.

We are heading to DTD for our AK day in the evening... the rest of the week we'll be going to bed at a decent hour so we can be up and ready for pre-park adr's and rope drops! LOL!

We go to disney every January we are empty nesters we always head to Boardwalk at least one evening this year we are excited to try the new italian restaurant Trattoia Al Forno opening in December reservations started October 21
