After Hours Tickets

I also wonder if tickets will be able to be purchased at 5:45 a.m. EST for after hours on October 4th. Any thoughts?

Not sold out. I just purchased my MK & am able to buy DS as well. The generic After Hours page shows as not available yet, check back later. But the specific MK After Hours & DS After Hours page have them. You have to be signed in to your account. Only the dates you are staying in a Disney resort will show up.

Wow! Glad I snapped up my DHS tickets early then. I didn't expect that!
Have you done the HS after hours before? We've never done any of these but this one happens to fall during our current trip. Thinking of trading a park day for the party. Thoughts? Is the party "worth it"? We go to Disney a lot so we are familiar with the parks and such. Just have never done a party.

Don’t think of it as a party, it isn’t. It’s rides, just rides. No shows, no special characters, no parades & no fireworks. Rides & a few snacks, that’s it. Waits can vary from walk on to 20 - 30 minutes for the newest rides. I haven’t done Studios but we’ve done MK several times. With Disney, things often start good & get oversold. Pre closure, the DAH started to have more people, nothing like a holiday party, but obviously more people than the first few times we went. Last year they did have special holiday themed DAH. We went to a Halloween one. It had considerably more people than a normal from prior to 2020. It remains to be seen what crowd level Disney will go for now. Worth it will depend how empty the park is. Walk ons, 5-10 minute waits are worth it, 30 minutes for a 3 hour event starts to push it, IMO.

I have not done AH parties before, but have heard good things about them in the past. My family are more night owls than morning people, we love Star Wars, and HS has a lot of other rides that they love. Plus we hate heavy crowds. So it's us being able to get the rides in, some night time Star Wars experience with low crowds, ride slinky, ride the Star Wars rides, and eat a few treats. Like the poster above said, if you are looking for the full park experience, then I would probably not do this, but if you are interested in those areas of the park like I am, then go for it!

Don’t think of it as a party,
Understood! Great explanation. thank you!

Yes, I think this is what we're hoping for. And as focusondisney noted, hopefully we'll be closer to the 5-10 min waits and not 30 min waits. We've done all of the rides at HS but it is one of our fav parks which is why we are considering it.

Yeah our party is Jan 11th, which is a low crowd time, and a lower priced party, so I am also hoping for 5-10 minute waits.
