Yippee!! We hit the 30 day mark today

Um, (raising hand), I too am a hysterical laugher on Spaceship Earth. My kids make the craziest faces (actually they do this on ALL ride photos - it's all planned and staged!) - and then they like to insist we are from remote areas of the world and that we speak other languages. Like we are from the south Pacific and speak an Asian language. So...who knows what we are asking for as we design our future!

I am so glad to hear of a fan of San Angel! We are eating there in October for the first time

WOW---that was the grandfather of updates that I needed to get through! I made it!

Fun Disney nights. We ate at LTT a few years ago when it was a character meal, and we enjoyed the food. I think we ate dinner each time, and it was a fixed meal/cost.

I must admit, I've never watched Tangled.

I love making some lists too!

Just a suggestion... why don't you send Mike to get FPs for EE as soon as you enter the park? You and the kids can meander back to the Safaris while he makes the mad dash to EE (here's a tip within a tip: take the route through DinoLand to get to EE... it's not really faster, but it should be less crowded! )

I'm glad to hear you like San Angel. It was a tough decision between that and Via Napoli, but I'll save San Angel for our next trip when DDs are with us.

We did that on a previous trip. It worked well. On our last trip we decided to throw caution to the wind and waited to get fast passes for EE after safari. It worked well too. Who knows what we'll end up doing. Why can't they put them closer together? It would make things so much easier! Thanks for the suggestion!

Love the Liberty Tree Tavern meal - we love to eat there!! Not sure why it's just one of those things where you do it once and always do it. LOL

At the beginning of the ride, they tell you when and where to look. They make it really easy for you.

We are going to be at Beach Club Villas from May 28th to June 2nd!! It's our first time staying there.

Anyway, I'm only on page 2 right now, but I wanted to comment on the Atlanta traffic trash talking. We live just north of Atlanta and let me tell you.....



I would pay someone loads of money before I drive in Atlanta traffic!!!!!!!!

DH works in midtown so he drives it every day. Bless him because I can't do it.


On another note, DH got his Masters from UT so we are HUGE Vols fans. We try to get up there as much as possible. I love Knoxville!

I am so jealous of your Disney nights! We only do one about a week before we leave and my oldest DD plans it all out. She needs just a little help with the cooking, but most of the time, it's all her.

We did a countdown chain one year, but I think I started too early and DD got bored with it. I think I gave it to her as one of her birthday gifts in July and we weren't leaving until September. Oops.

Y'all, I am so sorry I haven't posted in awhile! We had our children's musical this past Sunday and the whole week leading up to it was CRAZY! Then I started feeling bad on Saturday and have been fighting a nasty cold ever since. Today is the first day I've had the energy to do anything. I even had to push back one of our Disney nights, twice. At least I got sick BEFORE our Disney trip. I'll be back a little later with my usual bombardment of updates.

Sorry I've been MIA since you posted! How exciting that it's your first time at the Villas! Looks like we'll be there at the same time! If DH didn't voluntarily drive through Atlanta, I would pay him to do it. We'll be hitting Atlanta around 10 or 10:30 so hopefully we won't have too much traffic. We'll see... Yay! Go Vols! Don't know what to expect this year as far as the football team and since coach Summit has stepped down, it will be interesting to see how the Lady Vols play.

We are trying our hardest right now to get all of them in. DD last Disney night has been pushed back twice since I have been sick so we're probably going to have one tomorrow and then one on Saturday. I hpe I survive them both that close!

DD9 has decided that we are going to have a Disney dinner that she is going to plan before we go. We'll see how that goes.

I think the Big Orange Caravan is here next week. We haven't decided if we are going yet or not. We need to decide soon, though.

We are hoping for a better year this year. We are planning on coming up for the first two home games...one with the kids and one without. It will be weird going to the Florida game since it has been our tradition to be heading to WDW that weekend and we aren't this year.
