I know doctors are busy but I would of imagined calling a doctor's office to make an appointment for a lump would of been seen a lot sooner! I have to admit, despite the other medical problems DH has faced these last 5 years, this one has me rattled. :( I don't know whether this is only a swollen gland (that has been around for a good month and is only getting bigger - it now goes from his ear area to the front of his throat  or if something else is going on). Now, on top of the lump, he is getting several nosebleeds a day. :earseek: He goes this afternooon. I told him if the doctor wants blood work done, he is to go immediately to the hospital lab to get it drawn today. He did have an ear infection about 2 months ago that took 2 courses of antibiotic to clear. This is on the same side as the lump/swollen gland. Don't know if that is what's going on. Too many possibilities.............and I have had way too much to sit here and worry about it. I think my imagation is getting the best of me.:sad2:

If you could spare any pixie dust, I sure could use some today.:worried:

Absolutely, Colleen. Keeping you and your DH in my prayers. You are right, you have had way too much to deal with these past 5 years. Praying this turns out to be nothing to worry about.

Sending good thoughts, prayers and PD your way. Hang in there!

Good wishes and prayers for Dennis, Colleen. UGH!! The waits. Know well. Do hope things go well and just a nothing. Sure some tough years for you guys.'s Looking for an update.

....................................NOT!

2 antibiotics + 1 specialist + 1 Catscan = ONE LONG WAIT!:sad2:

The primary doctor has placed him on 2 different antibiotics, he has an appointment tomorrow morning for a CT scan, then has an appointment with a specialist on Monday, the 16th (happy birthday to me :worried: )

Just want I wanted to do for the next 6 days, worry! Like I don't have enough in my life giving me gray hair. :headache:

What kind of specialist did they refer him to?

I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you guys!

((hugs))

You will all be in our prayers! Please let us know what you hear!

sending positive thoughts & prayers your way. I'm hoping all will be okay.

Just got back and picked up amoxicillin and predisone. The specialist is a ears, nose and throat doctor. They want us to bring the films with us when we go to the appointment.

Wonder if the primary doctor will at least call with some sort of indication of what's brewing in there before Monday!

Colleen,

I'm so sorry for EVERYTHING you have and are going through. You are always in my thoughts.

Kim
