After 2 PM Ticket ??????

Has anyone brought or even heard of this ticket? I found it on one of the Disney ticket pages and ordered it this morning.

1-Day or 2-Day After 2 p.m. Ticket
This ticket is not a Park Hopper...

Each Day - 1 Park of Choice
Includes admission to:
Magic Kingdom Park
Or, EPCOT
Or, Disney-MGM Studios
Or, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park



1-DAY ADULT/CHILD
$44.00
2-DAY ADULT/CHILD $78.00

We have a few days left on our hopper passes and wanted to add a half day. I hope I haven't wasted my money.

Does anyone have any additional info on this ticket?

In order to get to this page I had to enter a group name, I used our Magical Gathering Name and enter arrival & Departure Dates.

I charged my tickets and they are due to arrive in 2-3 weeks.

I haven't heard of these as regular tickets. It sounds like they may be reserved for conventions or something along those lines.

I guess if it was me, it wouldn't be enough savings to justify not just buying the ticket when I got there if I just needed one day. Especially after you add tax and shipping.

I know they are offered to convention-goers, because I thought about ordering them when I went to a convention there. I decided they weren't for me though--ended up with an AP!!

I heard a conventioner ordering a "after 4 Epcot ticket" when I was at the Dolphin a few weeks ago.

On the ordering page there's this in the "more info" section (bolding mine):

Tickets are not available for purchase at Walt Disney World® Theme Park ticket windows and are valid for use only on the specific dates of the meeting/convention/wedding. Tickets valid 10 days from first use. Date of first use must be on or before December 30, 2005. Verification of meeting/convention/wedding participation is required.

I suspect that a Magical Gatherings family vacation wouldn't meet their definition of a "meeting/convention/wedding".

Just to play it safe, I call WDW Tickets this morning and inquired about my purchase. The CM said my tickets are on their way and I won't have a problem using them. It appers that there is a glich in the software that allow me to purchase the tickets. Something to do with the fact I used my MG group name which allowed me into the ordering area.

Thank all of you for your input. I know I didn't save much money on the ticket but it will work well for us on this trip.

Sounds a lot like the loop hole that allowed people to purchase discounted tickets via the Wide World of Sport's site by simply entering the names of participating tournament teams easily found elsewhere on their site.

FYI, I think your group's name and/or number is embedded in the link you posted!

Thanks for the info on the link but any name in the group field will do. They haven't link the group name to the rest of their software thus the loop hole.

I clicked on the link and then buy 2 day hopper, its a wonderful deal if you can get these tickets and what not... $101.00 for a two day hopper and it includes DQ or Pleasure Island... HOWEVER on the top of the page it says tickets available for May, 22nd- May 27th 2005, SO I would be careful that the tickets are not marked as valid only on "x, x, x" etc.... We had valid only on tickets once through a convention.... and sometimes they have expiration dates.

Thats good, thats the only thing I could see that could arise as an issue. Other than that all is good... What a deal, 2 day hopper with DQ or PI for only 101, thats less than 2 1d/1p tixs.
