Sounds like you did a good bit more than we did at DTD even IN the rain. We went late one evening and only went in and down past WOD. We went specifically to WOD and then decided we would stroll to the shops on the other end of it, without heading toward the "heart" of the SHOPPING meca!!!

Of course that ended up costing me a few WASTED bucks. Tracy, wanted to run in a Christmas Shop (? I THINK) and the girls weren't interested in going in it, so they opted to wait outside with me. Little did I realize they had other intentions!! Outside of that store was a carrousel, which for some reason they were interested in!!!

I reminded them that just earlier they had taken a spin on "Cindy's" at MK, but that didn't seem to deter them from wanting to WASTE money on this little one??

So, being on Vacation and not wanting to hear it, I just handed them the money and let them go!! Thankfully, Tracy was out by the time the ride was over and we were able to move on, without wanting another turn!!
I do hate that the rain didn't let up any, but again, glad you and DH plugged along and made the most of it. I can imagine that many wouldn't have and would have come home telling stories of the WORST vacation ever. Life is indeed what we make it!!!
I would say that it is almost too funny that the CM's were yelling at the top of their lungs for everyone to exit the building......but, for the life of me I can't visualize that??

Oh, yes I can, as each person made it to the exit and realized that it was truly pouring, they were debating on whether or not to make a run for it and where to make that run too, while some of them were deciding NOT to even make a run for it!!!!!!!!!!! I bet it did take a while to clear the building.
Good score on TSM. UMMMMMM, you didn't mention RnRC or TOT????? Do they close those during the rain???
I hope you get that letter from Disney.........you DESERVE it!!! There should be some sort of "rain" refund or future discount for those that are there during trips where rain is excessive. You know when we were there and shortly after we returned there was some talk about them closing the gates when the parks get to capacity. It made me wonder what they do "for" those that hold tickets, but then can't gain entrance when it fills up?? I mean, I wouldn't want to go in if it was that packed, but I could see myself upset if I held a ticket and couldn't gain entrance too!!
I hope that your final day turns out drier, but I have my umbrella by the computer here, just in case!!!
Now you and Wigd. can carry on with your hair and bag discussion!!
