Anyone know of the cheapest place to buy one of these.. ive been eyeing one for awhile and the price just doesnt want to drop

I bought one for my mom at Linens and Things, with a 20% off coupon, brought it down to $119. She was very excited with her new gift! They are fairly new, so I don't think the price will be coming down for a while.

I don't think they'll go down, either. I got one from my DH for Christmas and I love it. He got me the herb one, and we just ordered the chef salad seed kit. They have no clearance stuff on their web site, but I haven't looked on eBay. Hmm, I'll have to check there.

ETA: There is a bunch of stuff on eBay, and some of it looks like it's going for $75 or so. For what it's worth ...
I am going to bid on some of the seeds.

Is there some reason regular seeds from Walmart won't work? I saw these in ads at Christmas, but never really looked at one.

I bought a package of cilantro seeds today and plan to start them in a pot in a sunny window.

Personally, I think the major cost is for the pods that fit into the garden and the nutrient tablets.

I have a little 3 x 4 foot area in my back yard that I call my "garden." I save most of my vegetable seeds and trimmings and coffee grounds and stuff and throw them back there. Tomatoes have sprung up as well as squash, peppers and cucumbers. :lmao: I bought little basil, oregano and rosemary plants at Walmart for about $1.50 and planted them back there, too. Of course, being in Florida, I can grow year round, but I think anything in the window sill would do well as long as it's sunny.

The Aero Garden has lights on pretty much 16 hours a day, so the plants grow much more quickly than if they only get 8 or 10 or even 12 hours of indirect sunlight. It's like it's summer before summer.
