Advise on what to pack for cruise from San Diego to Vancouver in May

OK - so should've given this more thought prior but I leave in just over a week on the Wonder going from San Diego to Vancouver with 1 stop in San Francisco.

I've taken 11 cruises previously but this is my first that is not a Caribbean cruise and realizing that the temps even on land will be in the 60's to 70's.

Anyone who has done this sailing prior give any tips on what to pack.

Well, for a 5 night cruise, I'd pack (not counting what I wear onto the ship) 2 pairs of long pants, 3 t shirts, 2 blouses, swimsuit, nicer outfit (if doing Palo, or into dress up nights), extra pair of shoes, jacket. That's based on my living in the bay area for a number of years.

I've not done this cruise, but I think PrincessShmoo's list is pretty good. Especially this time of year, prepare for hot, chilly, and anything in between.

On the same cruise with a verandah. Windbreaker and warm goodie. Long and short pants. Comfy shoes for San Francisco. Not planing on Palo so no formal. Temps should be in low to mid 20s Celsius or mid 70s. Will get cooler and more damp as we head north.

I specifically remember buying a gloves/scarf/hat set on this cruise a few years ago. It was cold once we got a bit North. I am very frugal and I felt it necessary to pay for the set because I was sooo cold, even walking around the ship in the middle of the day.

We also had very rough seas...apparently on this part of the ocean, its common.
