Well I gotta help you cross SOMETHING! A June 2025 PTR

35 days! You're SO close!

Ohana breakfast is always a good one! I can't wait to hear how y'all like GEO-82... I've been wanting to try and snag one when we can book for our September trip!
Ohana breakfast is great - it's the one reservation my aunt ALWAYS wants to do. GEO-82 was an impulsive "let me just see if anything is open". The older I get, the less interest I have in alcohol / any drinks with added sugar. The view and the food menu are appealing to me though, so looking forward to that! The funghi flatbread, jumbo lump crab gateau, and truffled ahi tuna have all caught my eye but I don't know if they'll appeal to my less adventurous company. Did anything on the GEO-82 menu catch your interest?

Hi! My trip with my littles was last week and I already want to go back!
Your reservations look good! We snagged last minute reservations for Ohana (dinner though) and Steakhouse 71 and loved both! Also thoroughly enjoyed Oga’s even with my toddlers in highchairs at the high top table.
Also I love the Pixie Dusted Mom too!

Steakhouse 71 is just the best, we've never had a bad meal there! I've always wanted to try Ohana for dinner as well, but just hasn't worked out for us with the timing. I think at Oga's we may request the seated table (we've done this before and it doesn't take TOO much longer). Our daughter loves Pixie Dusted Mom as well, she's been really enjoying watching her kids on the vlogs!

Single Digits!

Today was my official last day with students until August! Which means time to wrap up with paperwork for the year and go into full Disney mode. I usually start our countdown at 12 days out (a la 12 days of Christmas style) with watching a Disney movie each day. Here's what we've been up to and what the next 9 days will look like for us!

12 days out: Busy day!! Ty's family was in town so we all went to dinner to celebrate his Dad's birthday. Sadly no Disney movies were watched this day.

11 days out: Pocahontas was our choice this day!

10 days out: I was busy coordinating some last-minute trip changes (My sister is now coming solo, and staying for a full week rather than Tues-Sat), but Tyler and the baby watched Atlantis.

9 days out: LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! I still have to work a bit this summer, but the kiddos are out now which means it's just meetings and paperwork for me.

We've just got a few tasks coming up in this last week before Disney. Lightning lanes will be booked on Saturday, and my cruise check-in will be on Sunday. Ty and I work tomorrow, I work Monday, Tuesday is his TSA PreCheck appt, class for me on Weds, and a hair appointment on Thursday round out the week. Lists are made for packing so we will likely get started on that in the next few days!

Lightning Lanes Booked!!

We had a VERY successful LL day and got everything we wanted. We're doing some pretty intense, stacked mornings to try and beat the heat in the afternoons. Here's our line-up:

Sunday:

  • DINOSAUR 8:15 - will do two groupings since baby can't ride
  • Flight of Passage 8:35 - my aunt, uncle, and cousin are going to pass on this so they will hang out with baby girl
  • Navi River Journey 8:55 - a ride for all!
  • Kilimanjaro Safaris 9:35 - a ride for all!
After our busy busy morning, we'll plan for Everest single rider and then hoping to see FOLK as well.

Monday:

  • Haunted Mansion 9:15 - a ride for all!
  • Tiana's Bayou 10:30 - will do two groupings for this one
  • Winnie the Pooh 11:10 - a ride for all!
We've got a Tony's reservation at 4:10pm but otherwise nothing else going on.

Tuesday:

Our rest day! We're doing O'hana for breakfast and Steakhouse 71 for dinner.

Wednesday:

  • Living with the Land 9:05 - a ride for all!
  • Spaceship Earth 9:55 - a ride for all!
  • Guardians of the Galaxy 10:15 - will do two groupings for this one
  • Remy's 12:15 - a ride for all!

We've got 11:10am reservations over at GEO-82 as well as Yak and Yeti at 4:45.

Thursday:

  • Buzz Lightyear 9:55 - a ride for all!
  • TRON 10:15 - I'm going to sit this one out, so I will plan to hang with baby girl and probably enjoy some people moving.
  • Pirates 10:50 - a ride for all!
My aunt, uncle, cousin, and sister are doing Teppan Edo this evening. They have an open spot on their reservation, so I'm tempted to join but we will see.

Friday:

  • Slinky Dog 9:10 - will do two groupings for this one
  • Rise of the Resistance 9:15 - aunt, uncle, cousin are skipping
  • Toy Story Mania 10:10 - a ride for all!

  • Tower of Terror 11:10 - will do two groupings for this one
