We plan to arrive at DHS at rope drop and hopefully ride TSM without too much of a wait. Would it be possible to then get return times for the A&E sing along and Jedi Training? How and where do I need to go? Does everyone need to be there to get return times?

For A&E, only one person is necessary. For JTA, the children signing up and one parent at least must be present.

I think most people recommend going to Jedi training sign ups first. Here is what I would do, assuming you have more than 1 adult. Arrive at least 30 min prior to opening, preferably 45. When they let you in, have one adult take the children to sign up for JTA and have the other go get sing-a-long tickets. Then, meet at TSMM.

All guests are held at the Hat Stage at rope drop for the Frozen Opening and from there, one mass of guests will head towards TSMM, one mass towards the Premiere Theater to pick up Sing-Along tickets and another crowd goes to JTA. You really should position yourself for JTA as it will be difficult to be at the front of the crowd for TSMM.

Where is the best place to stand at the opening if you want to head to TSMM and which set of steps do you go down? Thanks!

Move forward beyond the Hat and there will be steps to the Mickey Avenue walkway. If that area is too crowded, see if the rope that leads to the Brown Derby-Animation Courtyard is very crowded. They will merge those guests into the TSMM line once they lead the ropes in the TSMM direction.
