Can anyone give an idea of a monthly payment? (Approx)

I would like to get 200 points with $500 down. Will this cost me $200 a month, $500 a month? Any idea would be great.

Also, should I do it through DVC or Resales? Any advice would be great!

I thought with DVC you needed 10% down. That's almost $2000.

200 points at SSR - at $98 per point, worse case scenerio.
200 x $98 = $19600
DVC I believe requires a minimum of 10% down or $1960.
So you would finance $17640 @ $230.68 per month + $61.50 per month for dues.
Not sure if SSR has any promo's running. They did have the friends and family which ended yesterday, which would have netted you down to $83.30 per point. They also have a $8 rebate per point which gets you down to $90 per point.
Resales give you the opportunity to buy less then the minimun 150 point contract. But there are closing costs involved which actually nets the per point cost to be the same, at times. The larger the contract via resale, the better off you are averaging in closing cost.

Also with resale you have to arrange your own financing (home equity, etc). The seller will want a cashier check.
