Advice Needed: my curly long hair + FL Humidity = disaster

My hair is very curly and fine, and I have alot of it. It's slightly below my ears and cut in a bob with long layers. It tends to be in ringlets. Right now I use Curlisto products. Check out their website (curlisto.com). I don't have a bit of trouble with frizziness. We live in a humid climate and I don't have any issues here at home, nor when we're in WDW. My hair stays shiny and my curls stay intact all day. I really love Curlisto products. I've also used Ouidad Climate Control (ouidad.com) in the past. I love this, too. Actually, I will probably go back to it when I'm done with the Curlisto products I have now because I've found when I use a product for too long, it doesn't perform as well. So, I switch back and forth. Regardless of which products I'm using, my routine is the same. I wash my hair, then let it air dry while I'm getting dressed etc., and hit it with a diffuser for maybe 10 minutes to get any lingering moisture out. Then I use a small amount of Sebastian Spritz Forte hairspray and I'm done.

Anyway, both websites will make recommendations as to the best products for your specific hair type. I swear by these products. Hope you find something that works for you because I searched long and hard before I found mine and I know how frustrating that search can be.

My little niece has the curliest hair ever and it is long, to her waist...we took her when she was 3 and I used 2 things...one was Sunsilk frizz control styler in the green bottle, I combed it in and let it dry that way...it was great! Another thing I did was the spray in gel from Loreal in the White bottle with black print...I used that alot too and it gave her hair a nice shine.

Pony tail or up-do. Unless I'm getting re-married or standing in for Stacey, I'm just not that concerned about my hair style.

Hi there! I have super curly, thick hair that can get frizzy in 5 seconds flat! I was turned onto this great line of products called DevaCurl. It is simply the best! They have a cleanser (they do not call it shampoo) and a conditioner that are great. They also have a gel called Arc Angel which is better for humdity and Set it Free is their de-frizzer. I do not love their leave in conditioner, I find it drying. You can find these products at Ulta or online at DevaCurl.com.

With all of that said, I do feel that Florida humidity is excessive. When is is over 80% humidity in my town in Ohio, I use the Catwalk Curls rock Curl Amplifier as a styling product. It is hands down the best severehumidity product. However, it is SUPER sticky! I do not like the rest of the line and I only use the Catwalk stuff when it's super humid, but it is a miracle worker!!
