HA! (The joke is on me! )

I just had a mini "epiphany" while rethinking that car magnet. (As if I have nothing better to do... ) It occurred to me that it probably always was intended for the refrigerator, because I don't really care for tailgaters. (That's pretty much what you'd have to be in order to read the small print from a moooooving vehicle! )



Sometimes it takes me a while, but I eventually "get" it!

Thoughts? Comments? .... Snide remarks?

We did the drive to WDW a few weeks ago and had quite the adventure!! We ruptured a fuel tank, spent 6 hours at a car dealer to see what we could do. Ended up leaving the dealer with a rental SUV as the nearest gas tank was in Ohio and we were in Tennessee. (PS, SUVs don't have anywhere near as much room for suitcases and legs!) This resulted in an exchange on the way home at 4am on a Sunday morning somewhere south of Nashville. This exchanged included moving all of our suitcases and misc car junk (like Ipods, DVDs, toys, crayons etc), moving the car top carrier and 5 sleeping children from one car to the next!

The experience was quite unique and one that won't every be forgotten!

Yikes! I hope that the on-site portion of your trip was fun (and "uneventful,") though!

I think it is so funny that we all are afraid someone will steal our magent. I am planning to show it off in the car loop at school but plan to take it off around town so no one nabs it. I agree Disney needs to send us a couple more so we can proudly show them off and not worry that they will get stolen. Isn't it sad that we get something so cool that we would LOVE to proudly display but live in a time that we have to worry that someone would steal a "magnet" off our cars?

Anyhow...the package is super cool and I can not wait to see what else they have in store for us!! I would love to have that logo on some golf shirts and light weight jackets to wear at the parks and around home too. Now I just have to figure out when to go for our next trip?? I am thinking we will try a long weekend over Memorial Day weekend. We will also be there for the DCG concert for the weekend of May 2-4.

Another thought about the magnet...you could also put it on your washer or dryer. My DH puts his sports team magnets on my W/D when they/magnets are not in use.

Here's cool news.... a friend of a friend (how's THAT for a reliable source?!) is headed over to Epcot tomorrow for a focus group about the Mickey Moms Club! I'll try to get all the juicy details I can, but I have a feeling she'll have to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Yes, Nicole, it has been awhile...just wanted to say hello.


Also, since we are all in agreement that we do not want to display our magnets on the outside of our vehicles, here is what I did. I made a color scan of the magnet, laminated it, and stuck it to the inside rear window of our minivan.

I think we may drive, instead of fly, on our next trip this summer so I can show it off on I-95!!!

I got my packet yesterday as well.
I would love to display the magnet on the back of my car- BUT I have a new Saturn Vue- and they are not made of metal!! No magnets will stick to it.
So- just in case I was worried about theft- no problem- DH put it on the fridge last night.

I was quite pleased with the packet. Thanks for thinking of us Disney!
I wonder how often we will hear from Disney about our new Moms Club? I would love for there to be some official events, podcasts, newsletters, deals, etc.

Ah-hah! Admittedly, I haven't yet gotten around to reading the accompanying print materials!

I suppose I could blame the "guests" we had over when I opened the package, but that doesn't seem quite fair... (We were watching our friends' kids for the afternoon/evening. Talk about timing: Their DD walked away with our "One to Give" Tinkerbell pin. Actually, it's fairly appropriate, considering we're planning a trip together to Orlando this summer! And, of course, I've lobbied for some time at Disney. It just won't be as much as I'd like... )

I did put mine on the car BECAUSE I wanted EVERYONE TO SEE IT and wonder who I was!!!

It makes me feel special having it on my car, but you do have to balance that with the risk of it being stolen...and that begs another question...

I know that WE all love Disney and the magnet, but are we being OVERLY anxious, thinking that everyone else will actually want a Disney Moms magnet?

Gosh! Maybe we are just crazy girls!!!! ...but just because we are nuts for Disney doesn't mean everyone is...
