I see Erin answered my first aid question. Thank you, Erin. We were asked to come up with some "practice" questions for you to answer (hence, so many questions that say "cast member" after the person's name!)

No, thanks to all the great cast members who gave us the starter questions. Our "inbox" is already starting to fill up with questions from the public.

I am so THRILLED to be a part of this.

Erin

I haven't asked any questions yet because I am so busy listening to everyone's videos.

Great job!!!!

I don't know who to ask my first question to, maybe I'll come up with a few!:flower3:

I loved the videos.

I'm sure my kids didn't love me ignoring them for 30 min., but I wanted to watch them all! They are really good!

I can see a little bit of me in all of them! :rotfl:

Which means...Disney did a great job of picking you guys! It's an excellent mix!

CONGRATULATIONS from all of us. We know you will make us all proud and have a blast.

Thanks to Tabitha (2goofykids) for the concept of this thread. Here it is in her words from the other thread:

"I hope that you panelist will be able to post here about your journey. I would love to come along for the ride. Have they told you if you will have to keep quiet about everything? If not maybe we could start a new thread, something like Adventures of the "Moms" Panel.”

Please keep us updated of your adventure on this panel. I am sure we are going to bombard you with questions so you will be so warmed up when you reach Coronado Springs in a few short weeks!:woohoo:

Congrats to all our lucky winners!!! :woohoo: I'm hoping to hear all about your adventures...

I just logged in and asked a question. Don't stress, it was a pretty easy one but I am hoping you have more details on it than I do.

I am so excited for you all. The site looks great and you all are certainly one good looking group!:woohoo:

Holy Cow! You guys have answered a lot of questions already! This is going to be a full time job for you. I started to watch the videos..Bret and Erin, you both did great! I love the birds flying in the background. I hope you guys had prompt cards!

Nope, no cue cards. No script. Seat of the pants.

Actually, they gave us very few guidelines: tell us about yourself, give a favorite memory, a favorite tip or something similar to that. We had a little while to think about what we would say. But we mostly just did it on the spot. Can you tell why I was NERVOUS about the video?:scared1:

I think you did a great job on your video!! Yay for you! I wish I was planning a trip now, but I will have to think of some questions to post! You guys have been busy!

I just noticed that there's a nice video overview of the Mom's Panel, which introduces the panelists (with footage from their Disney training trip).

(Click "What is the Mom's Panel" in the dialog box above "Top 5 Questions." It's on the right side of the screen.)

Very cool! :thumbsup2

Erin was very worried about her bio, but I think she did a GREAT job! Erin you're a natural!

The inbox is rocking, and this is a soft, unadvertised launch. WOW! I can't wait to see how this unfolds! :woohoo:

Okay, I submitted a question... Let's see what happens.

P.S. - This is awesome! Congratulations again!

Wow, thanks for sharing that link! I completely overlooked it.

Did any of you watching the video feel as if you were actually there with them? Living vicariously thru them? Gosh, it must have been good to be them!

Great job guys!

Wow -we all knew in our hearts that you guys would be great - now we have the proof!

You are all GREAT! Loved seeing your personal introductions!

We are all proud!

PS - I am assuming that is Meg in the red suit with the leopard trim, right? Looks like the pics of her from the naturalization ceremony in July. I agree Erin - really nice suit!

Now, how did I miss Meg?

Where was she in the group video? Let me go back and look...I was so focused on you guys, I guess I missed her! LOL...

You know, just rewatching that video, I have a quick question.

Are you guys considered Cast Members now or Independent Contractors or just volunteers?

What did you think about seeing your name in the WD Script? Pretty cool, huh?

Oh yeah, did you get official WD nametags like other CMs?

Nope, we're not official Cast Members, though I'm sure we'd all LOVE to be! :) And yes, that was Meg Crofton in the red suit. Isn't she elegant?

I guess I never really paid attention to her before, but yes, much prettier than I remembered, and yes, looked great in that red suit.

How great to actually meet the head person in charge! Two thumbs up girl!

One more question. When all of you arrived and were introduced to one another, how many of you had already linked up with one another online (thru the Dis or TGM or otherwise)?

How did the panelists who had gone in cold turkey (not speaking with anyone beforehand) feel? Were they surprised that the rest of you "found" one another?

I assume that Disney itself did not put you in touch with one another before you left, right?

I just think that this whole thing was so cool, and I really think it was cool that a few of you through your own initiative actually "met" online beforehand.:thumbsup2

(Of course we already *knew* that! ;) )

I returned to the Moms Panel web site to see if I could spot Meg Crofton in the introductory video (That is where everyone saw her, right?), and I discovered that Disney already has made modifications to the site to ensure that the video isn't as easy to overlook. Now there's a "View the Video" link in the "What is the Moms Panel?" dialog box. If you click on "What is the Moms Panel?," you're directed to a written overview of the panel.

It also looks like our panelists are busy churning out answers to everyone's questions, because their "Questions Answered" numbers keep growing.

Impressive! :)
