Adventurers Club question - calling all AC experts!!

I should have come here in the first place.

In October of 2000 we were in The AC with some friends. We wound up in the library with my friends and their 12 year old son. Fletcher was singing a song about something in a crate, and about half way through, he began quietly serenading the 12 yr. old. We were all sucked in - because he gets to a point in the song where he leans in and just SCREAMS at the DS!!!! The poor kid was so startled he almost fell off his chair. We were laughing so hard we were, literally, crying.

Does ANYBODY know the name of the song I'm referring to???

It's called "The Thing." Phil Harris recorded it in 1950.
