Adults going to MNSSHP; Are you going in costume? Share your pics here

Love your Anna costume! I'm being her also. Did you see other Anna's? And I don't have a cape. Should I make one? Or without still look okay?

I think it'll look fine without a cape. The "real" Anna doesn't wear one at her meet any more.

My wife has a cape with her Anna costume but she's not sure if she's going to wear the cape at MNSSHP (may be too hot and heavy.)

With cape:

She looks great in both photos.

Thanks! Makes me feel better if I don't have one. It's already layered enough so a cape would make it hotter. My luck it will be hot that day/night.

I went last year in a rather light cloak (satin) and was hot. I think you'll look fine without yours since you'd probably be roasting in it. What i'm doing this year is bringing a messenger bag that fits with my costume and if it gets too hot for my shawl/cape i'll shove it in there.

Thanks everyone! I don't think I'll have one but this helps!

Next question. I'll be obviously braiding my hair but it always ends up like this :

with random ends coming out...

Any suggestions how to keep it together better? Hair spray helps a lil but not enough..I have thick hair. TIA

is your hair layered? have you tried putting gel in it and braiding it wet?

It has slight layers to help with the thickness. When I do braid it wet it stays really well but once dry it starts slowly going everywhere. Haven't tried gel but will be bringing hair spray to hopefully lock it in place for the party

Bobby pins that match your hair. Gel is another good idea. I'd combine gel with bobby pins to keep it looking sleek all night.

I found a hair mouse that helped with that its by herbal essences called anti-frizz creme helped putting it on when wet, it'll take it a bit.

as another poster said, gel and boby pins :O) Bit of spray, and then voila. You could even try to find sparkly gel to get a bit of a shimmer!!

Going Oct 30 and have decided to be a very simple Snow White. As a brunette my princess options were Snow or Belle. I found an above the knee yellow skirt and what color top I found, navy or yellow, would determine which I was. A lucky online search turned up a princess shirt in etsy that was a navy T with puffed sleeves that had large red tear drops sewn in the sleeves. Pair with skirt, add red headband and voila instant Snow White.

Got the idea from a friend who works at a hair salon and channeled her inner Elsa by doing the messy french braid and wearing a pale blue sun dress when she went to MK this past spring. Granted she looks like Elsa anyway, but it gave the gist without looking like she was in a costume. I wanted to find a yellow dress and carrying a book purse to channel my inner Belle, but yellow sun dresses a few. So I went another route.

Sounds like a wonderful costume! I was going to make an Anna one same way but my mom ordered me the costume. Excited either way! Have a great trip!
