Just booked our first trip to Disney with our 4yo and 2yo sons. I started calling for ADR's at CM & Tusker House for breakfast and everything is booked. I guess it's tough when you book trip with less than 2 months advance.

My questions are:
1. How difficult will it be to get a table without a reservation at these restaurants?
2. The kids are really in Mickey so that is why I was looking at these, but does anyone have suggestions for other places that kids will enjoy?
3. Short of sitting down and going through most of the restaurants (which I plan to do), are there any that I have a better chance to get a reservation at with this short a notice?

Thanks in advance for any help. This website is great and has helped with planning our first trip. I know now that our next trip will be planned well in advance!!!

I would keep calling every day because people cancel and change their plans all the time. Also check the November cancel/trade thread on this board, you may get lucky!

Have you thought about the Crystal Palace? That seems to be a fun spot for kids.

Good luck with your reservations! :thumbsup2

Keep trying! We are going the week of 11/10 and I am having the same problem. We are on the Dining Plan but I really don't like having to make reservations 6 months in advance, so I decided to wing it this trip. Then a month ago I got cold feet and decided to make a few ADRs. EVERYTHING is booked. I couldn't even get ADRs for my third choice places.

I kept trying, every Sunday morning I would sit down with a cup of coffee and make the call to Disney. With a little patience and persistence I now have 4 ADRs: The Plaza for lunch on MK day, 50s Prime Time for dinner on HS day, Coral Reef for lunch on Epcot Day, and Ohana as our Character Breakfast. I have one more to go, and if I don't manage to find one I'm okay with winging it.

Good luck, and keep trying!
