Disney's system will not allow Cinderella's Castle to be booked under the 180 + 10 rule. I tried twice today and their system will only allow it to be booked 180 days prior to the date of booking. They did enter my confirmation # and it still could not be booked under 180 + 10.

I tried to book today for 6/24 and 6/19 is our arrival date. Has anyone been able to book using 180 + 10?

Scott

I was able to book, in early November, both CRT and CM at 180 +10 for early May. Try calling back to get another CM to help!

Rentayenta: Concerning your Obama/Biden insert, why would you feel it either necessary or appropriate to insert a political message on this board? I come here for Mickey, not for Barak, Joe, John, Sarah, etc.

Interesting first post.

I'm not Rentayenta, but I'll answer.

Many posters, of all different beliefs (political and otherwise,) have personal things in their signatures. People also discuss many things that are not Disney related. If it offends you, I'm afraid you are going to have a difficult time reading these boards.

Now a question, if you don't mind: Why on earth would you choose for your first post to be so confrontational?

I was able, (for a date in early June), but when I was booking the CM said the system could "accept" dates up to and including June 19th, but the 180 or 180 + 10 rules still applied.

This bit of not applicable (to me) information was also included awhile ago in an allears confusingly worded newsletter that you could book till June 19th. This date was actually some sort of computer system capacity date, it had NOTHING to do with 180 rules etc., so that might be why you are running into issues with your time period. :confused3

(Trisha, if you are out there, remember this?? Looks like it is starting to become an issue for some people.)

Thank you for the info. It does turn out that Disney's system cannot book any reservation past June 19th. This will be true tomorrow even for CRT, CM, V&A which are within 180 days tomorrow. They have no idea when the system will be able to accept reservations past 6/19.

This is very frustrating!

SO does this mean I can call tomorrow and book all my ADRs for May?

Yeah, I haven't been on here for a few days with the weather and running around for X-mas. So what's the deal? I am curious too. Will we be able to book through May tomorrow? :confused3

Just got of the phone with Disney Dining Reservations. They told me the new date is now mid to late January (not tomorrow, Dec 22nd anymore).

They suggested calling back in early January to find out more details about an exact date.

If you are referring to what Scott and I have been taking about, that does Not change anything that we currently know, it is a system capacity issue. It is still looking like we will be waiting until mid/late January. :)

so they're really letting those of us going the last week in March go past 90 days? That sucks. And apparently we will be at 60 days by mid January. Great.:sad2:

This does suck what a pain! We're going in April and I am so antsy to book our ADR's. With DH coming home from Iraq a few days before, this Disney planning is keeping my spirits up. I just feel like we're at a stand-still now!! GAH!
