ADR System Upgrade - History

I just got off the phone with Disney and they said that it will be mid-Jan or late January before you can make ADR's for after March :scared1: This is so not good for people who like to plan :sad2: Anyone else in the same boat?

I am starting to feel the shakes as I am now 7 days past my ADR window

Luckily, one of my friends was at WDW last week and brought me Mickey Rice Krispie Treats to help ease the withdrawl symptoms :lmao:

"My name is Bzzelady...and I am an ADRaholic. It has been six months since I made my last ADR."

Would anyone else like to join my lack of ADR support group?

try being 90 days past your ADR window. :sad2: That's how long those of us going the last week of March have been waiting. Shakes doesn't even begin to describe it!

Thank you for the info. It does turn out that Disney's system cannot book any reservation past June 19th. .

sorry - does this mean that i can call tomorrow for the first 2 weeks in may?

i'm reading that they still aren't booking past march then i say this now i'm confused:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Count me in... as you can tell by my ticker... I'm in the 6 month zone and it's KILLING me. I missed out on a few that I really wanted to do in October due to procrastination and I was bound and determined that it would NOT happen for this trip!

We are staying at the Beach Club for the first time and I can't wait to have all the great restaurants in the World Showcase within walking distance!!:woohoo:

I called today to reserve for my May 23 trip.
They are only booking through May 21. :sad2:
They expect to open up the next 30 days by "mid- to late-January."
They did let me book Chef Mickeys & CRT - the only 2 booking.
& they had *TONS* of CRT bookings available - some benefits of the huge increases in pricing meeting the recession.

Just called too and they told me mid to late Jan. if not later.. The CM was wicked nice but said he does not expect it to be any sooner!!!!!!!!

Correct - they are taking reservations through March 22 as of right now (Other than CRT, CM & V&A which are June 19)

From the updates from other posters it looks like they expect to open up to 180 days sometime in January.

Just got of the phone with Disney Dining Reservations. They told me the new date is now mid to late January (not tomorrow, Dec 22nd anymore).

They suggested calling back in early January to find out more details about an exact date.

I called early afternoon to book something for 3/22. The CM told me they had not been informed when the window would open for later dates, and to try tomorrow to see if anything had changed. My guess is he didn't know yet....:sad2:

Nothing available yet (past March 22) due to the recorded message either.

"We won't be taking reservations until late January but call back in mid-January to get the exact date." I guess it's back to bed.

I was on the phone but in a queue so I decided to hang up as you guys got the info first. More waiting for us then popcorn::
