Hello! My husband and I will be in WDW starting on January 8th. This might be a stupid question, but I know I can start booking dining on 7/12, will that ONLY be for the first day of our trip? Then I make a reservation for 1/9 on 7/13? Or does it open up a week at a time? It's not really too big of a deal, but I really want to be sure we get to dinner at BOG this time :)
Thanks in advance!

If you're staying in a Disney Resort, you'll be able to book 180 + 10 days. When you log into MDE, the dates are clickable. If you're not staying in Disney resort, I believe you're one day at a time.

Thank you!

Also, for the better chance at getting BOG, try to book one later in your vacation. If you are staying Jan. 7 - 15, for instance, try for one on the 13, 14, 15th. People who had reservations for Disney a few days before you have already been booking and you waste precious time trying to find a reservation earlier in your stay. Fill in the earlier dates with easier to get ressies after you have secured the hard ones. I used that strategy and got everything I wanted. Also, if on line doesn't work for you call at 7 am sharp. Online didn't work for me, I was on the phone at 7 am, waited around 15 minutes, and still got everything I wanted, including the elusive BOG.

Oh thank you for the heads up! I'll try for the last day and cross my fingers and toes. I was so sad we didn't get a chance to try it out for our honeymoon so I'm determined this time. I'm also going to try for Ohana for our anniversary, hope I can get it!
