Admin Please Close Thread.

I just click on specific forums instead of new posts—DCL, Theme Park Strategies, etc. I don’t even click on Community Board anymore.
I used to use the Theme Parks and Attractions board a ton but it went so downhill it just doesn't contain the helpful information at least the way it was back then. The yearly News Round Up thread was one of the best. It was similar to this thread in how it felt and it was full of so much good information.

Def. covid had a large impact with the parks closed there just wasn't much information to be had.

The CB Board has changed for sure since when I joined

To stay sort of on topic with travel, does anyone else like to visit grocery stores or food markets when they travel? I really like to see what is available in different places.
🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️ Right here!! We even do that with gas station stores if they are the bigger/nicer ones, because you never know what kinda cool snacks/drinks you will find! Let's just say no matter where we are, DH and I always pay most of our attention on food! We are 🐷🐽! LOL!

What and where is the most interesting grocery store you ever been in?

Exciting!! Yes please do a trip report!🙏🏼
I was excited when Virgin launched but so far, I have heard all not very good things about them. Then after we watched quite a few YouTube videos about their 🚢....eh yeah...I think we can pass for now.
I've heard good things about Virgin mostly focused on the food and the hammocks on the balcony but yeah there's some negatives too. I'd still like to try it out sometime. One of the biggest appealing points was the 18+ aspect. Interested to see how they go in the next few years with them getting some more ships out there.

One that comes to mind is when I was visiting my friend in Bulgaria and I went to a grocery store near his home. I have never seen a wider selection of cigarettes/cigars in my entire life. Same with bags of tea leaves and hard liquor.

There's a running thread??? Like runDisney or just people running in their everyday lives because I'm all about exercising but not like that :lmao:
LOL! Yeah it's kinda both. I had read some stuff there before but I'm NOT NEARLY ready to go back to doing runDisney, so I'm staying away from it until I can run a 5k without wanting to die!🤣🤣
Btw since runDisney came up...it is soooo ridiculous how hard it is now to get a spot!! And these are some of the most expensive races on this planet! I decided when I'm ready to do it again, I will have to pay for the Club runDisney membership to guarantee my spot AND I'll have to do coast to coast to make that membership worth it!🤦🏼‍♀️

We once visited Cincinnati and made the trip to Jungle Jim's - that was really fun!
In my childhood Jungle Jim's meant an entirely different place. It was Jungle Jim's Playland but everyone just said Jungle Jim's. I had so many fond memories there as a kid. It was an indoor amusement park style place.

As for food markets we have 888 International Market https://888intlmarket.com/888/index.html actually haven't been in it but my husband went in it a couple weeks back to get a particular Asian sauce (which is sooo good by the way) that Walmart and Price Chopper and Hy-Vee seemingly were out of. There's also a few Hispanic grocery stores in our area and I keep telling myself we need to go in them to check them out for more authentic-style food options.

One of our DISer couples that moved down to Orlando does runDisney events. I love to hear about their times doing it (they like to get photos with characters) but I just cannot get into running (or speed walking lol) in that way. I exercise very often just in the comfort of my home ::yes::. The weather however is getting to the point where I can take walks outside and we've got a newer park with trails that I've gone on a nice peaceful walking with music..no running needed :rotfl:

This was last year in that park I just mentioned above, may be hard to see but that's a deer just making its way on the paved trail quite close to me

There's a heavy focus on returning lands to prairie so it's neat to see how the trails are changing even as new as they are.

OMG!! You guys!!! Thanks to this thread I FINALLY graduated from Earning My Ears and I'm now a Mouseketeer!! 😁 🎉party: Of course have to thank the OP too for their YAGE!!! Otherwise I wouldn't have clicked on it!
You're the second person to say that in this thread actually LOL

We now need to get this thread to 1k posts. Come on people! We need another debate akin to fast food or alcohol.
