I’ll have to go back & catch up with all the posts later. Right now, I’m at MK, deluxe resort extra hours. Our plane was delayed an hour for weather before it got to our city. We landed at 10, Tiffany Town car to WL & walked into MK at 11:31. I expected to be boarding at 6 so I asked my DDIL to log into my MDE & try for a Tron boarding spot for us. She’s amazing & was able to get boarding group 220!! I can’t do any of those kind of rides but DH is in line now! I’m hoping he comes off in 1 piece. 😂😂. Hoping we have time for HM when he gets off. I hope I don’t get banished from the thread for taking a spontaneous trip, lol.

I'm a little disappointed that I went to bed at 9:30 and we are only at 28 pages. Good grief. As if people have other things to do!🤣
Then why did you go to bed so early and didn't stay up to type it out?!?🤣 I haven't been on here all day and I'm also disappointed you guys only made it to page 40! I can say that because I was the last one to post here last night HAHAHA🤭

The fact that you are up at this hour after traveling get's you some serious respect. It's 915pm here and I'm 15 minutes from the lights out.
Have Fun.

Hey hey we used to live in Fairfield!! 😁 Well...actually we used to tell people we live in Cordelia (sounded nicer than Fairfield🤣)
No issues with Fairfield. Miss the Budweiser tours, and the Jelly Belly tours aren't what they used to be, but still a fine town.

6 + infant, two cabins just cruise (no tips, drinks, spending, parking etc) was almost $14,500 for FOUR days. By time we added all the other expenses it would have been $17,000.
We love Disney and find value in many things it offers but there is nothing they could possible due for us to justify that. Maybe some day when we can pick up and go on a last minute for a deal, but for now DCL is off our radar.
😲😲 I shouldn't be shocked because I went on it and know how much it cost, but it is still pretty crazy to see it when the #s are on paper! The only way to save some money on DCL is go on the older ships. The new and shiny toy will always cost more. Another tip (if you didn't know already) - Check out Costco travel because they offer Costco cash card with bookings. We got $235 cash card after our DCL cruise. DCL price is on par same no matter where you book it, unless you book your future cruise while you're on the DCL ship and they give you 10% off.
This was our very first Disney cruise, certainly won't be our last. We had fun and will definitely do it again, but we won't make it our priority. I rather go to the parks.

I took my son on the Wish in January and it was 2200. I'm not sure where he's getting the 17k. I've cruised on DCL 29 times and even when all four of us go we've never spent more than 7k on the cruise fare. It's the time of year, choice of room, and cruise that determines the cost. 17k for a four-night cruise doesn't seem right unless he's pricing out the concierge rooms.
I wait for discounts and book last minute. I only cruise if the price is right.

How dare you saying it out loud you're staying at a DELUXE resort here?! 🤣 You'll definitely get reported! hahaha🤭🤣🤣🤣 All jokes aside, hope every ride is open and working and have a magical time with your family!!👍

We were on the 2/27 itinerary and that was $3K for the two of us, balcony cabin. When I first started planning it, I wanted to sail in January because of the low pricing, and I even booked it already but ended up cancelling it and rebooked for the one on 2/27 because those dates worked better for us. Yes a few factors affect the rates - when you book, choice of cabin and when you sail. If they can only go certain time of the year and get a balcony room, $17k isn't that surprising to me. I looked at the rates for Concierge, not even worth it IMO.
Originally I wanted to go on the Wish after we are done with the parks, but just one week later, the price shot up extra $500 (total). Then going into mid March through April, they are even worse!! 😱🤦‍♀️
You're EXTREMELY lucky that you can book last minute and cruise when you want, a lot of people can't do that.

PS - Watch out you might get reported for flaunting that you've sailed on DCL 29x!!! hahaha 🤭🤣🤣🤣 Sheesshh!

Well well....I'm baaaaaaccckkkk!! :hippie:

I wasn't on here all day because I needed to do some adulting today since I didn't do 💩 yesterday!! So today I had to deal with the consequences!🤦‍♀️🥴
After spending an hour catching up....here are my 2 cents on everything...

-Antarctica cruise is on my bucket list as well! DH isn't very interested but I think it's a once in a life time trip! Regents/Seabourn/Oceania those are also on my list to try.

-We like early March (1st-2nd week), May and mid November for WDW. We were just there first week of March, crowd level wasn't too bad. But if you don't wanna see all the cheerleaders and band geeks (no offense!) then you better wrap up the trip by the 2nd week because that Spring Break crowd is too crazy!!!

-Jersey week??! I never heard of such thing! (although I'm not from east coast). Very interesting! Now I'll note that for November, thanks for the info!

-Plastic bags @ WDW - As of a month ago, all stores were giving out plastic bags for free. You don't need to do self-checkout to get them nor buy the reusable bag. The good ol' plastic bags were free flowing!😂

-Tajin on dole whip!?😲 Interesting I might try that! But has anyone tried li hing mui on dole whip? I mean since dole whip is pineapple....the two island things really go well together!

-YAGE: 😲👍👍 Learning something new!

-Chicago: Been there once and loved it! I might not want to live there (weather) but would definitely visit again! So much good food! I am dying to try EVER (love chef Curtis Duffy!) so that will definitely be part of the itinerary when we go back to Chi-town!

-Good stuff to put in a hot dog: Cream cheese + grilled onions!! YUMMMM!!

-In & Out: LOVE IT!! I lived in Cali and while I also can't say it's high quality food or best burgers, you go there for value and a pretty decent meal. My standard order - Double double animal style (Cheeseburger if I'm not too hungry), Fries well done animal style and might add a Strawberry🍓 shake once in awhile!

-Hardees: I only had it when I lived overseas, but it was solid! I liked it!

-White Castle: It only tastes good when I'm drunk!! LOL! Anyone wanna hear how we got to a White Castle drive-thru all drunk in a cab?!? 🤣😂🤭

-5 Guys: Agreed that it's pricey! I just don't love it because every time I had it, their burgers are super greasy and I'm just not a fan.

-Sonic: They used to be good! What happened to them!? Besides the limeade, I don't know what I would go there for now. Unless it's after a wedding, we are drunk and it happens to be right there? LOL! That's literally the only reason why we went there last time! Because it was the only thing that was still open around the area.

Am I missing anything??🤔🤪

I went to the Jelly Belly factory quite a bit! Not even sure why because not like I love jelly belly, but just because I could and it was down the street from me? haha😂

i'm still up watching dvr's of the people's court-insomnia :guilty: hopefully i can get to sleep soon cuz later i gotta pick up my easter pies at sheri's and get the last few groceries.

what am i gonna watch now that they've cancelled it???
Night court? Judge Judy? 🤣
