Adding on meal plan with rented points

I rented points from a DVC member for arrival on 9/20. We decided this weekend we would like to add the quick service meal plan before we arrive. I contacted the owner by PM and email but haven't heard back. Is there is any other way to get the meal plan added without going through the member?

As far as I knwo ONLY the membe can do but if you do not hear anything back try calling the resort directly and see if they can help.

unfortunately, you have to rely on the member to add the dining plan to your reservation several days in advance. there's not another option.

hopefully, you will be able to get in touch with them soon. you've still got a week or so...but this sort of lack of control over the reservation is just one of the downsides of renting.
